for lunch. really good that they make light bites, because I don't like a bug lunch.

It was ok, though the menu is a little uninspiring and the tone was of business people getting a quick meal

Good place to go in there. Last visit they had music playing through the speaker and couldn’t hear my other half talking to me because it was that loud. Good drinks though and good food though. Staff are very friendly. Looks very snugged in and cosy when you walk in !

Not the greatest selection of vegan foods, you have to ask for a separate menu to find the options. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about vegan food and drink alterations. The price is a little higher than you might expect for a sandwich or small meal but it is made well so it is worth it. The atmosphere is always wonderful here and even at peak times it never feels crowded, just cosy, as the name suggests. Voir le carte

a place we visited quite often. I booked a table for my partner birthday. the booking team was great and the confirmation was easily won. there was a recent menu change that took some of the dishes that had removed us from the book. a star was lost by the service. I had to leave our table twice to correct the order we had made. some of the ordered meal times had elements that lack due to storage problems, and pudding had a similar story with 3 of our party that need to change the order for the desert.

Nice place in a really gorgeous, spacious, high ceiling victorian building in the centre of Taunton. We'd been stuck for somewhere to eat a vegan meal in the early evening and were quite chuffed to stumble across this place. Just wanted something light before the cinema. We arrived about 5pm, so there was plenty of space. The ambience was nice and cosy (hence the name I guess). The server we had could have been a friendlier, (although I am not sure that is a reflection of the place itself, since the other staff seemed friendly). This place has always been friendly and welcoming when I have arrived to eat here. Unfortunately I didn 't even know that they had a vegan menu until I saw it mentioned on another website- you have to ask for one specifically when the greeter seats you. There isn 't a huge choice of options- 2 main courses- but, compared to other places in the area, 2 options is wonderful. I had the mushroom bruschetta and the falafels to start followed by the burger. It was delicious. All the food was perfectly hot and very tasty- plus the sherbet lemonade is fantastic and sharp.
