"I made a huge mistake. I never review any restaurant, even if they are bad, but this restaurant is a joke. I went there and ordered a wrap for $5.99. I expected it to come with a drink or at least fries. I waited nearly 7 minutes, then she brought me the sandwich. I expected it to be hot, but guess what? It was cold chicken sandwich, full of cold salad and dry with no sauce. Terrible experience."

"We had a wonderful evening overall, but we were disappointed that we weren't informed about the time cut-off for ordering food. We had intended to dine there and were given menus, but when we tried to place our order at 8:45, we were told that the food van had already closed. As a result, we had to leave and find somewhere else to eat, which was unfortunate because we would have loved to stay for the entire night! In the future, please make sure to let customers know when food service ends. Otherwise, we had a great time!"

"I have never seen such an unwelcoming group of staff who were working serving the food and drinks in this rather attractive cafe. The only person who had a smile on her face was the girl on the till. Due to the unfriendly staff we decided not to be tempted by the cakes. We ordered a hot chocolate and a double espresso; the hot chocolate was a very dark cardboard cup full of tasteless dark brown liquid, (I suppose most people don't see this because they have cream and marshmallows). I would challenge anyone on a blind tasting to say what the liquid was supposed to be. I only drink double espresso and I have enjoyed it all over the world but not at The Potting Shed; here it was bitter and unpleasantly rough. Somewhere I would definitely avoid in future."

"After reading good reviews we were really disappointed! We came for a family sunday lunch, firstly the waitress got my sons order wrong, (beef instead of chicken) which wasn’t a problem as we all make mistakes , the waitress apologised for the mistake but it then took another 20 minutes before his food came out in which I sat eating my dinner alone, I had no roast potatoes on my beef roast and made the waitress aware of this to which she apologised and told me she would bring them out asap , i ate my meal as slow as I could waiting and waiting but I eventually finished my food and asked for the bill, no roast potatoes ever turned up as they had obviously forgotten a second time! We weren’t offered any drinks through the meal or even asked how our food was, we felt like we were totally forgotten about or ignored and to top it off the food was very average After being given the bill at full price I then explained what had happened and they took the kids meals off the bill which was ok but I hate complaining and felt really awkward that I had to explain what had happened like they were totally unaware Such a shame as it’s such a lovely looking little pub,"
