Agrituristica Del Lungomonte Pisano

Dopo una salita sotto il sole al Monte Serra, abbiamo fatto un buonissimo pranzo e una sosta rinfrescante.

Avevamo un ricordo diverso di questo posto... poi abbiamo capito che è cambiata gestione. Cena al buio e passabili solo i primi... la grigliata era pessima. Il conto finale è stato salatissimo!!! Attenzione alle fregature Voir le carte

Mi piace tantissimo questo posto, che frequento da quando ero studente, circa trentacinque anni fa. Bellissima location, accanto ad una chiesina sconsacrata, con vista stupenda. Locali accoglienti in stile rustico toscano, cucina locale. Ottimi tutti i piatti, antipasto ricco (ma stasera mancava la pasta fritta con gli affettati... ma devo fare solo un appunto: per favore non spezzate i tagliolini in due. Una pugnalata, i tagliolini lunghi 10 cm. Prezzi giustissimi.

Ambiente e vista superbi, servizio e piatti deludenti.L'ambiente è bellissimo, fresco in estate e con vista sulla pianura Pisa e sul mare.Il servizio è stato poco piacevole e quasi inesistente, con il cameriere che spariva subito dopo aver portato i piatti, rendendo difficile chiedere qualcosa in più.Mi aspettavo piatti casarecci e non da ristorante ma così forse è un po' troppo, primi tirati via e grigliata asciutta e poco saporita.Forse siamo stati sfortunati noi viste le molte recensioni ottime. We had a great meal at this pearl of a restaurant. We were staying just outside Calci and decided to drive up into the mountains to visit this place, and we were not disappointed. This place is beautifully situated and feels very authentic and true to its Tuscan roots. For antipasti we chose the selection of cold hams and the prosciutto with mozzarella. We then went for a primi with pasta, fresh cherry tomatoes and cheese. And a secundi of the wild boar. The boar was really good, and the pasta was the best we tasted through our 10 days stay in Tuscany. The house wine also tasted great with the chosen food. I stayed in the Agrituristica del Lungomonte Pisanos Guest/farmhouse approx one km. down the road fro the restaurant (can be booked through booking.com or their own webpage . You are basically at the end of a dirt road, approx 400 mts above sea level with total peace, serenity and amazing views all the way to Pisa in the distance. There were only a few couples residing in the farmhouse, as there are a few rooms only. The house is spotlessly clean and has a kitchen (no service available on the farm . NOW walking up to the restaurant for dinner is great (remember to book a table, as it is a popular one and I hear people come all the way from Switzerland to dine here! . The atmosphere is unbeat...
