"Ecco, se esci di casa e non hai le idee chiare su cosa vuoi mangiare, questo è il posto giusto ! In menù c'è praticamente tutto: primi, secondi, carne, pesce, panini, hamburger, insalate, dolci. Tutto piuttosto buono. Il locale è accogliente ed è una via di mezzo tra il pub e l'osteria. La frequentazione non è generazionale, da 18 ai 70 anni. Bene il servizio, fatto da ragazzi molto giovani, ma gentili ed efficienti. Per qualsiasi cosa, no problem, il Boss è sempre tra i tavoli a metterci la faccia."

"I sometimes get tired of stuffy restaurants in Italy. It is like you either have to go to a restaurant or a bar. Temple Bar is a great mix of both. Great food and fun people. I was surrounded by tables of groups of friends and people watching the soccer game. It was relaxed like a bar, but with great food and service like a restaurant. I appreciated their passion for cocktails and local beers as well. Since there was a live band on the way I transitioned right over to the bar for great drinks and a little peek into the very healthy Piacenza nightlife."

"I have been here before and was very impressed for the innovative approach to the cuisine and ingredienst. I have been again for dinner on a very hot summer evening and tried the excellent culatello and pork shoulder from Massimo Spigaroli, the top producer of this cured meat. The portion was not generous, but after all these ingredients are expensive. I was then attracted by a slowly braised veal cheek, advertised 'with potatoes ' and something else. The meat was succulent, very tender and excellent, but the 'potatoes ' were reduced to a kind of whitish broth, not particularly tasty either. No other vegetable was visible. And this is, in my view a mistake. In fact when I asked for some vegetables I was told that the asparagus had passed its sell-by date and therefore had been condemned. Fair enough, but there are still plenty of good vegetables on the market, and a good restaurant should provide a good selection.The dessert was good, and the choice of wines reasonable (but more can be done in this department). To sum up, I was more impressed the first time, and one of my guests also enjoyed an aubergine flan very much, but I am a little concern that this pleace which has very good potential may be slackening."
