"First time I visited Common Ground and had no idea what a great selection of food there was. I went for the Veggie Breakfast, even though I’m not a vegetarian, everything sounded lovely on it. Lovely thick slice of freshly baked bread toasted with 2...poached eggs, mushrooms, halloumi, hash brown, beans, grilled tomatoes and avocado. My friend had the clean breakfast which had smoked salmon, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, 2 poached eggs. I also ordered a cup of tea which was made with loose tea leaves. Such a lovely place will be definitely be visiting again"

We ordered the full English breakfast and it was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and nicely presented. The tea selection was also great.

The title says it all really. I have only visited here for drinks but the service is often outstanding and the hot chocolates are to DIE for! Highly recommend if you fancy giving your money to somewhere independent.

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic, giving us a warm welcome and serving great food. They were especially accommodating of our baby, helping us with the pram and seating us at our reserved table. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

this restaurant/café is relaxing with friendly, friendly staff. eating is good and the prices are reasonable. the outside area at the back seemed pleasant. the only part in the one thing I visited was the long waiting time for our food, about 40 minutes from.

Today my third time was to visit this amazing brunch place and never disappointed. the brunch menu is absolutely delicious, full of traditional things, but also some genuine quirky options that they do not see anywhere. I had the French toast, the eier benedict. and today the clean breakfast on toast. absolutely amazing! super delicious, beautifully presented and fresh good quality ingredients. the staff is super friendly and welcoming and the coffee is also great. highly recommended.

A while since I have been there decided to give it a go one lunchtime with my son. We were in for a late lunch about 2.15, told kitchen was only open for another 15 minutes so we ordered quick. I had French toast...with mascarpone, fruit and maple syrup. I was offered (and accepted) bacon but there probably would have been more than enough without. My son had waffles which was also quite sizeable. We also had a mint tea and iced coffees which were more than big enough. The food was good and plentiful, and the service was quick and friendly.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
