"We stumbled across this place when many other nearby restaurants were closed on a Sunday evening. The menu is varied with plenty of choice that would suit anyone who likes Asian food. I went for Thai dishes and my wife chose Vietnamese. The portions were large and maybe I didn't need the soup starter (but it was delicious) Service was friendly and in English along with a well translated menu. We were politely offered forks to eat with although most people were using chop sticks. The best part was the bill. By far the best value we have had in Vienna, where tourists have to expect to be fleeced by other restaurants who cater for one time visitors. Not so here. We are here for a week and will definitely return to Coconut and Curry."

papayasalat has nothing to do with the original concept of papayasalat, where comminuted green papaya is mixed with carrots. here I literally got salat and red papaya with tomato etc, but the chicken with mango was very nice

A small but excellent spot which offers good variety with well prepared wok dishes. We were too late for the Vienna 10 pm closing standard and discovered this gem by chance. When you tire of standard Viennese fair be brave and try an Asian diversion. Out door area is typical.
