"6 of us (3 children) stayed on the haven blue dolphin site not far from filey and we had decided last minute to have a meal. After a quick search on trip advisor we have tried the bull inn that is local but they decided to stop selling eat 2 hours before advertised! so we went to filey to the Italian san marco, but it wasn't as they were full. after another quick search on trip advisor we came across the cobble bar and bistro. I called her quickly and talked to a beautiful girl who assured us we could all be fed. we were going around. for the third time? the first impressions were ok, it felt a little clear and there was not much atmosphere (it was a Sunday evening she was,) but the smell of eating was simply beautiful! I think because I was called a bistro, I might expect a little more market, not that I am implicit that it was running down or shady as it was not. we were warmly welcomed by ella who was also the girl I spoke to on the phone. we sat and she visited us all night. the service was excellent and the food was really good. I won't bore you with everything we ate, but it cost everything fresh and it seemed to be all made home. the pizza, burger and fish were all very good and the portion sizes about right. we were fed well and very satisfied. eating was great, but when I am honest, ella was so polite and attentive and always had a smile on her face. at no place we felt as if we were served in a restaurant, she seemed almost like someone we knew but had not seen for one because. eating was really good, the service was great and we had very little waiting time for our eating. above all, we did not feel robbed when it was time to pay. all in all, I would definitely recommend the cobble and would return happy again. Amazing experience. The service was excellent. The food was reasonably priced. Eight of us ate and drank for under 70 pounds. We will definitely return.

We had a great meal at this restaurant that added to our enjoyable outing. Our group of 12 had a wonderful time on a bustling Saturday night. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Came here yesterday and the food was gorgeous. Facilities are clean and staff are really friendly. Pizza at reasonable prices , and really tasty and fresh! The views are gorgeous too which is a bonus ! Would definitely go again if I come down to Filey.

What a find. It doesn't look much from the outside But the view from the tables is superb. Especially when the sun goes down. Very friendly staff and pizzas to die for at a excellent price. Had a steak off the specials board. It came on a huge wooden board and it was full. Very generous portions and again not expensive. Will be returning on our next visit to filey. Booking is a must in high season.

The restaurant offers an incredible view of Filey Bay and is always bustling. My wife ordered a ham and pineapple pizza, while I opted for the salt and pepper squid. Even though there was a 40-minute wait for the pizza, our meals arrived in just 20 minutes. We decided to split our meal evenly and both thoroughly enjoyed it. There are not many dining options in Filey itself due to its size, but if you happen to be in the area, definitely give this place a try.

During our day trip to Filey from Whitby, my wife, son, his girlfriend, and our dog searched for a dog-friendly restaurant and found The Cobble. The staff welcomed us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food was delicious and generously portioned. I enjoyed the scampi with chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce. My wife had the chicken burger, while my son and his girlfriend had burgers that they all found to be delicious. The dishes were also well presented. We will definitely return to The Cobble next time we are in Filey and highly recommend it to others.

A few years ago, we visited this restaurant and had a great experience. However, after reading some reviews, we decided to skip it for a couple of years. Recently, we saw some promising reviews and decided to give it another try. We were thrilled that we did. The service during our first visit was amazing - the guy running it went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would hire him in a heartbeat if I were in the restaurant business. Due to our positive first experience, we returned on an early Saturday evening and once again, everything was spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF GREAT VIEW! We were made welcome from the moment we called to book a table. The restaurant is modern, bright, fresh and clean. The menu has an excellent variety of options which include Pizza, pasta, fish, salads, steaks, chicken, a specials board, and children's meals all reasonably priced. We chose the fish and chips, Alfonso pasta and BBQ chicken. All the meals were very tasty, presented nicely, were very fresh and the chips were particularly nice.
