Cobble Bistro - Carte

Great pizza and fish and chips on the 2nd floor restaurant. The location is amazing with views across the bay into the distance. The staff are really pleasant.

We’ve visited Cobble for several years on our annual visit to Filey. It’s a lovely, airy room, with a terrace if you want to sit outside. We’re always happy with the food, and the pleasant staff. It’s great value for money, and the views is second to none.

We visited this bar several times during our weeks stay in Filey as we absolutely loved it. The view from the second floor balcony was stunning, the service was friendly and there was a good choice of beers. The lasagna we had was definitely homemade and absolutely delicious and the cheesy chips were also very good. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely bar. Voir le carte

Our very first visit, Sister booked a table for us both, we had a lovely view of the sea. We where seated and we looked at the menu, we ordered garlic bread with tomatoes, to share for the starter. I had j20 and she had beer. For our mains she had lasagna, I had bologna. The portion of bolognase was quite big, and lasagna was also a good size. The staff was very polite, while we was eating, a lady came over to ask if we needed anything, so I ordered another j20 . Food was nice atmosphere was good, would visit again.

Tried to boom a table of 5. The waitress I asked for a menu checked her watch before giving it to me. When I asi ked if I could book a table of 5 for the following night the waitress shouted to someone who I assumed was in charge but she might just have been the one who is happy to put customers who think they can just turn up and book a table straight. No. She said, 7.30 is too late. Then she turned her back to get on with much more important conversations than having one with a ' customer '. So we left to everyone 's relief.

During our day trip to Filey from Whitby, my wife, son, his girlfriend, and our dog searched for a dog-friendly restaurant and found The Cobble. The staff welcomed us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food was delicious and generously portioned. I enjoyed the scampi with chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce. My wife had the chicken burger, while my son and his girlfriend had burgers that they all found to be delicious. The dishes were also well presented. We will definitely return to The Cobble next time we are in Filey and highly recommend it to others. Voir le carte

A few years ago, we visited this restaurant and had a great experience. However, after reading some reviews, we decided to skip it for a couple of years. Recently, we saw some promising reviews and decided to give it another try. We were thrilled that we did. The service during our first visit was amazing - the guy running it went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would hire him in a heartbeat if I were in the restaurant business. Due to our positive first experience, we returned on an early Saturday evening and once again, everything was spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I spent a lot of time searching for a restaurant in Filey that could accommodate a group of 8 people and 4 dogs for an evening meal. Many places in Filey either do not allow dogs inside or do not take reservations. Eventually, I found a place that allowed dogs and was able to make a booking. The second floor restaurant had amazing views through the windows and also had outdoor seating. I ordered the beef burger, which was delicious and served in a nice bun with plenty of well-cooked chips. My wife had the fish and chips, which was average. Others in our group had lasagne (very good), spaghetti Bolognese (excellent and a large portion), and pizza (very good). The service was pleasant and over...

With almost certainly one of the best views from any restaurant for miles and miles, this place has the staff, food quality and reasonable pricing to match. I’ve been coming here for ages (as a local) and have seen it change over the years but the current team really are awesome. Whether it’s a morning brew, a family meal or sundown beers with friends, this place caters for it all and does it well. It has a lovely inclusive family atmosphere and the staff really are the friendliest around. The pizzas are restaurant quality for takeaway prices and the selection is really good. The starters are lovely too (though I must admit I’ve only ever ordered them once because the pizzas are so filling).... Voir le carte
