Photographing a wedding at Clärchens Ballhaus was simply a dream come true for me! I mean, how beautiful can a location actually be?!

Simple but very good German cuisine! A particularly big compliment to the staff, from the cloakroom to the waiter, everyone was very, very nice!!!

Really good. Just as it says here: food, service, ambiance. Very attentive service, great cuisine, beautiful rooms, and the constant interaction with the other guests, even if from a distance, creates a real vibe. All in all, very fair. Voir le carte

We ate at the restaurant before the renewal and came back because we had such a great experience. This time the food was ok, but nothing more. The atmosphere and design were kind of dark, loud and chaotic. The soul that was once there, is gone. The service was good though. P.S. they charged 5 euro for a 71cl bottle of filtered water, which seemed pretty execive...

This restaurant lives from the history of “Clärchen Ballhaus”. Loving and historic interior. Solid and rather mediocre Berlin cuisine... unfortunately not anymore. Definitely could be better, as the menu is very appealing. Fair prices for the food. Bottled wines from 40 euros are more like 60 euros upwards... borderline considering the rather average wine quality. Staff tried hard and professional...but distant and well aware of the status of Clärchen Ballhaus. Reduces the feel-good factor.

Wow! What an amazing/interesting place. Fantastic food with efficient service too. It’s quirky yet chic, but in a relaxed way. The food is a spin on German/Berlin dishes and what we ordered was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken for main course it was tasty! Prior to my trip to Berlin I found out about Clärchens through a podcast/Newsletter (Guten tag podcast/Mitte daily) where one of the guests described the venue. I knew then I had to book a table and so glad that I did! A lovely way to end our trip to Berlin. Thank you. Voir le carte
