"Visited on a Sunday afternoon wasn't too busy but i would imagine this place is heaving in summer fantasticchilled interior with outstanding views , we made a reservation online had to give credit card details to secure..Seated quickly on arrival i requested a sea view and our request was met amazing view..Our server was friendly and welcoming throughout we ordered some cocktails the pina colada one was delicious and you could taste the alcohol definitely our favorite by far.We enjoyed the nachos and chicken strips for starters .The fish and pork tacos were fresh tasty so delicious accompanied by the amazing zingy dips we especially loved the roasted pineapple chilli dip i would of gladly bought a bottle or 2 to take home , and the Mexican fries which were cooked fresh and piping hot .We would of liked a lovely Mexican salad on the menu too i felt the menu was a bit sparse i thought there would be alot more Mexican streetfood on offer but we enjoyed what we ordered..Yes i would go back I'd love to try something else and now you've converted my husbands tastebuds im sure it wont be too long before we do.."

Really good authentic Mexican food and the margaritas are spot on. Friendly staff and fun eclectic decor. One of the best places to eat and drink in Margate.

Normally eat the Mexican food here and it’s brilliant . However Sunday roasts are disappointing. They could do with a better selection of vegetables and slightly more meat. Veggie options are disappointing too. I think it’s very expensive for what it is ! London prices for a roast but not the same standards. However apart from that love the Mexican food and it’s a great bar worth visiting !

We came in here to go to the toilet and to have a drink and i have to say the staff are friendly and they allow dogs in the bar area. They don't have a huge selection of alcohol but they have some unusual ones and they do cocktails, they serve food which looked good but i can't couch for quality as we didn't eat it is easy access and has a access able toilet i will be coming back and trying the food

Really impressed, I love the originality, it was its own experience. Like the name of the food, the different flavours. Not just the standard guac, sour cream and salsa you get. I can’t say I’ve ever eaten tacos or Mexican so original i won’t lie. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican too. Have already suggested to friends and family! will deffo be coming back. Taylor and the team were really friendly and the service was great.

We had a lunch on Sunday due a heavy traffic we arrived 20 minutes late When we arrived we apologies with the receptionist he was kind of upset for our delay while 3 quarters of the restaurant was empty , after all the lunch was fine apart the waiters where stressing us every minute trying to upselling drinks and food I can understand that but this was too much Not big expectations from this place not cheap at all with the same money you can have a better experience somewhere else in Margate

Couldn’t fault it. Wish it was local. Brilliant service from everyone, but have to give a special mention to Taylor who was way more than a manager. Can clearly see that he leads a great team to put their customers first, he was amazing and a made our evening. The food was yummy every single dish. My husband continues to rave about the birria tacos (currently the special but need to be on the main menu in his considered opinion! You need to book. Recommend you do so before your visit, so you don’t miss out. Had a fabulous evening.

The best place to eat in Margate and beyond. The place is so original, from the quirky decor to the interesting menu. The food was delicious, we had the French Tacos and the nachos, both of which were so delicious. Cocktails are great to, definitely recommend the Pina Colada. The table layout in the bar area, the great music and decor create such a good vibe. And the service is so friendly, from the host to the bar staff to the amazing Steve on security who is such a great welcome to the place. Plus, it's super dog friendly to! An amazing place, can't recommend enough and hope we get to visit again one day.

I visited the bar on Saturday afternoon with my black friend to have a drink and use the male and female bathroom. The Manager challenged us immediately as to why we were there and tried to back us backwards using his body and volatile manner. We explained why we were there and he gestured towards the bar in a very hostile manner indeed. We said we would like to know where the individual bathrooms were and he reluctantly gestured towards the ladies, choosing to disregard my friend. I asked him where the male bathroom was. He was very volatile. I attempted to ask him if he was the Manager afterwards so I could respectfully express my upset at his treatment towards us and again he avoided, ref...

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
