"This was the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever ordered. The starters were mean, tasteless and expensive. I have no idea what the dipping sauce was supposed to be it was totally without flavour. Fishcakes and spring rolls were clearly out of the freezer and into the fryer. The chicken wings were just not very nice. Nothing was spicy. The mains were indistinguishable from each other, and were gloopy and virtually taste free. The (included) bottle of Coke was not Diet or Zero as specially requested, and the free prawn crackers numbered just five! If you're in West Birmingham and after Chinese food, avoid this place our experiece has been very, very disappointing."

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The staff are incredibly rude and consistently get orders wrong. It's surprising to see a business like this still in operation.

In all honesty, the food was definitely worth the price. The portions were generous and the flavors were outstanding! I will definitely be ordering again soon. Cheers! Voir le carte

The food, irrespective of the preparation tasted the same. Same sauce. Under eats delivered. The soup has leaked as lid was not closed properly and spilled. Expensive food compared to proper Chinese takeaways First and last time from this place!!!

The food was of a poor standard. It has little flavour, the meat was dry, the vegetables were soggy. I asked for a spicy sauce but there was no spice in the dish whatsoever. Smaller portions than average for a takeaway. Over priced. Not recommended.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes on a Monday night, and the beef curry was mostly water with barely any beef. The portions of chips and rice were small, and the chicken chow mein was unappetizing. All of this cost us £20.00, which is outrageous compared to other restaurants. It was a terrible experience and we will not be returning. Voir le carte

We used this take away place regularly. Last year after we collected our food I have noticed by noodles are drained in oil as soon as I opened the box. My partners box was in a same state. You could taste the grease while eating it was horrible. So today we have decided to give it go after a year and well.... it hasn’t changed! My food was covered in oil again!! You have to either stop using such a large amount of oil or change sauces supplier. Disgusting, definitely not the healthiest take away place.

Do not order from Chop and Wok (Quinton, Birmingham). I ordered food at 18:30 and at 21:30 got a call saying it was being delivered. During this time we called multiple (over 20) times but couldn't get through. When we did get through we tried to cancel our order but they hung up on us. At 21:30 we finally got a call from the delivery driver saying they were outside. We obviously sent them back because we didn't want the food (we had gone to somewhere else for food)! I just hope the driver didn't get in trouble for what is obviously a problem at the restaurant.

"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive. There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required. There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."
