Chop Suey House - Carte

I can honestly say I give this place 10/10 I eat from here at least twice a month. It’s amazing food. Amazing service and in such a lovely area.

Chop Suey House is, we think, the best Chinese takeaway in the area. I'm very glad to have moved back to the area and can enjoy it again. Delicious food.

Not as good as Dads. Too much pineapple, not enough duck. Same for chicken. Fried rice not fried rice. Boiled rice with a bit of egg. Not good , shame, used to be a very good takeaway . Bit of a downer for new years eve.

Over an hour for our food to arrive, and then items were missing from our order! Called up to ask for these and was told they could only drop them off if we paid the delivery charge AGAIN. Otherwise they’d give them to us next time!! Not fair at all! Voir le carte

Chinese takeaways are always very subjective but this one was tasty and the fried rice and noodles were just the way I like them. The sweet and sour sauce as not the nicest I have had but all-in-all we enjoyed our takeaway whilst visiting Nailsworth.

Since it changed hands we had not made the time to try the new owners cooking. I have to say it was very good from a takeaway perspective. The crispy beef shreds were actually still crispy when I got it back home and there were decent flavours in the food. Decent prices and quick service. Friendly front of house.

We treated ourselves to a takeaway from this Chinese. The Food Standards rating in February 2021 re hygiene etc was 4 but I think they need to revisit. The strips of chicken in my Chicken Cashew dish were very thin and were weird looking, crinkled shapes. They tasted of fish and were a little bit slimy too suggesting that they had been stored in water and at an insufficient temperature for some time. After trying two mouthfuls I just had to throw the rest away. The chicken balls were OK but the rice was not the best either. In these Covid times, we were not happy that they would only accept cash payments too. Voir le carte
