3 of us had breakfast at Mike's Kitchen yesterday. It was amazing. We will definitely be going back!

Lovely place with fiendly staff. Had a beautiful cream tea with a yummy scone for under five quid. Definitely recommend this cute cafe!

Fantastic lunch, lasagne superb. Wife said her scampi was perfect. Very clean and nice friendly people. Worth the walk from Fishery creek. A big thanks after disappointment elsewhere. Cappuccino awesome

came here for a birthday breakfast and was greeted with such kindness by both owners on my birthday it was lovely, the food was delightful and fresh to order. the iced coffee was beautiful especially in this hot weather, very refreshing. highly suggest coming back for a breakfast or to try and evening meal.

Went here this morning because we fancied a good English breakfast. Had already been recommended and truly lived up to expectations. The food was prompt and well cooked and beautifully presented. The hot chocolate I ordered came with more than sufficient marshmallows and whipped cream making it well worth the £2.50 it costs. The staff was lovely as well

We stopped at Mike 's last night for a meal and so pleased we did. We had the Rib Eye and it was perfect. So so tasty. We asked for it to be cooked 'dairy free ' and Mike was only too pleased to do so, and even made the effort to come to our table to offer a home made dressing made with Prawn and White Wine to complement the Steak. It was lovely. I can not recommend this place enough, great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great service.

Amazing food from amazing chef and team. On arrival we were made so welcome, there was a set menu on the board but the chef catered for our fussy little ones. They also happily catered for our friends who are vegan, also myself who cannot have wheat. Our food was beautiful, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I would recommend anyone to visit Chives, but do book in advance as they are very popular. We will be going again next year, without a doubt. Such great hospitality.
