Chez Lin Sushi - Menu

Friendly welcome, fresh, well-made sushi and a big bowl of udon noodles - this isn't a fancy restaurant but the food was good.

From the outside the place looks pretty nice but the food is average and expensive for what you get. I've had better Japanese food.

A really nice place. Been comin. There a lot since I study in Montreux and recommended to my friends. A really nice place with good people working there and the quality is really nice!

Mon compagnon et moi-même avons l habitude d'aller Chez Lin car ce sont les meilleurs sushis que nous avons trouvé dans la région. La gérante est très sympathique et l accueil est à chaque fois parfait ! Endroit à recommander!

We ate lunch. The food was not bad. The green tea wasn't really Japanese, more Chinese. The sushi was good as was the miso soup. I would make the following recommendations. Remove all the plants from the back of the restaurant and play some music to create a better atmosphere. Also insist the person serving washes and uses deodorant, as she smelt really bad.

J'y suis deja allez plusieur fois et la nourriture etait toujours excellent et le poison etait tres frais .Les menus sont variée et propose un large choix de nourriture japonaise .Quand j etais venu pour la premiere fois je pensais qu'il n y aurai que des sushis mais j ai été étonnament surpris de leurs large choix de plat. Exelent restaurant take-away je vous le conseil .Petit Bémol le resaurant est plutot petit et ne peut acceuillire qu'une dizaine de personne et aussi que pour un restaurant japonnais il y pas mal d'aliments asiatique en vente (style petit marché).

The fish is of the utmost freshness and the chef makes the dishes on request, which means having to wait a little while for your meal, but it's well worth it. My usual lunch costs around CHF50 (assorted sashimi and a couple of sushi, or...just a variety of sushi with salmon roe, sea urchin, scallop, sea bream, avocado and crab, fat tuna, and salmon). They do sell prepackaged sushi sets as well, and I've taken some home on occasion. Set meals are also available, I tried the grilled eel menu once and it was very good, a lot cheaper than the sushi too at CHF25 (including rice, miso soup and a salad as well as the eel). This place, located close to the station, only has a handful of tables since it caters mostly for the take away trade. The owner told me it's only been open for six months. Their sushi menu is extensive and expensive, but that's Switzerland! Of the...30 ish varieties, I tried eel nigiri (fish a bit dry), sea urchin gukan and flying fish caviare gukan (both perfect). I also had excellent salmon sashimi, the fish had just the right amount of rich, creamy fat and was perfectly cut.
