Awful food, freezing cold when delivered. Chips was that cold they may aswell been frozen. Cans of coke was warm disgusting won’t order from here. Rude on the phone kept hanging up when trying to get a refund

I've always liked the food here in the past, but my meal tonight was quite disappointing. The food was dry, cold, and not enjoyable at all. I ordered spring rolls but ended up with empty samosa shells instead. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

I just spent £46 on food and didn't receive any egg fried rice. When I called to resolve the issue, they only offered to replace one order of egg fried rice, even though I had ordered two set meals for one. The food was disappointing—the chips were hard, and the curry sauce was thick with barely any meat in the set meal. Just awful, every dish tasted the same and smothered in that dark MSG gloop. The chow mein was congealed with no taste and the chicken balls and chips were disgusting with rubbery chicken and the batter was soggy and chewy, the chips were all speckled as if they had been refried a number of times. Best Chinese food in Wales. We come down every few weeks to Johnston and always have a meal from Chens. Don’t judge a book by its cover! While on holiday, we were looking for a takeaway and found this place on Google, which had a good star rating, so we decided to give it a try. To be honest, the building isn’t the prettiest, and when we went to place our order, we were kindly informed that it was cash only for takeout. No problem, as the local shop had a cash point. The staff were friendly and warm, and the locals were welcoming—always a good sign. We didn’t have to wait long for our food despite a steady stream of phone orders.
