My daughter booked a table for 10 inc 2 children 6 and 9 and they said the earliest they could fit us in was 7:45 . When we arrived the pub was empty ! The service was brilliant but the food was just ok. Wasn’t presented great .... no garnish . Dry and just about hot enough. I wouldn’t go again

I stayed at the nearby Premier Inn for a night before my flight from Manchester Airport and decided to have dinner here. I didn't have high expectations, but the food turned out to be surprisingly good. We ordered lasagna and fish and chips to share, and both dishes were quite enjoyable—I couldn't complain at all.

My son and grandson took me there for my birthday. I had a beautiful meal and spoke to a chap who turned out to have just taken over the place how nice it was to have cooked vegetables rather than just shown the boiling water. They were firm not solid and hard. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Will be going back

We love it here! The staff is as friendly as always. Laura, the team leader, did a great job introducing us to our waitress, and they were both very attentive. We ordered our drinks and then our meals, and both arrived very quickly. We enjoyed a lovely meal and this has become our favorite restaurant time and time again.

Staying at the attached Premier Inn with family during house renovations. Came for breakfast on reopening, after having watched them spend the weeks leading up to it doing maintenance and cleaning everything. Very clean and tidy inside. Breakfast was great. Good fry up and selection of fruits, cereals and yoghurts. Coffee good too. And the measure of any hotel breakfast, fantastic croissants which came hot from the oven! Joanne who served us was great,very friendly and attentive. Was lovely when serving my young children too. Thank you! Back tomorrow :
