it is an iconic place for all berliners. great place to have a drink, something to eat a chill out in the beautiful grunewald forrest.

nice staff, relaxed guests, delicious cakes eat (also fresh from the grill) and great atmosphere with fire dishes. and dogs are welcome. the large beer garden and the new betli we find especially great.

Fantastic full service venue great restaurant bar in a lovely setting complete with outdoor seating, kids play area, and access to the woods. Sit around the outdoor fires in the winter enjoying mulled wine or have a fondue in their Chääsehüüt.

The main building is closed for some renovations and they serve food in a smaller building on the side. There's also a grill outside which serves sausages and fries. There's a playground directly on premises which is convenient for families with kids. Toilets are in a separate building, very clean. I was a bit confused with the ordering system, it seemed that one can't get all the drinks from the menu outside.
