"Great selection of toasties, soup, sandwiches, but the main reason for our visit was the vegan selection of treats pancakes, Belgium bun, Apple turnover, sausage roll, vegan cheese and pesto on sourdough and soup to name a few. Never seen a vegan Belgium bun before! I booked ahead, as i had a friend visiting who wasn’t local and vegan and i don’t eat egg. They were kind enough to save back a selection of vegan options in case they sold out and describing options even off menu. Really lovely place and staff who go out of their way to look after the customer"

Nice place, but don’t think I’ve ever seen anywhere slower at getting coffees made. Prepare to wait ten minutes if there’s more than a couple people in the queue. What a lovely place this is .The staff are very friendly and helpful. We visit often and have really been taken aback how the portion sizes have been adjusted down wards and prices escalated in these past few weeks Noticeably cake sizes granola bowl and chip portions. Great ambiance and fantastic coffee! The coffee shop's atmosphere is truly delightful, and the coffee itself is top-notch. Highly recommend! And the food there is what a food lover really looking for. And don’t forget to bring your kids enjoying the park there which just takes 1 mins to be. "We visited The Bell to celebrate our birthday. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our table promptly. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Our food order was taken as soon as we were ready. Two of us chose a Thai Red Curry from the specials board and our other guest chose the Steak and Ale Pie. We had salt and pepper chicken wings to nibble while we waited for our mains. The food did not take too long to come. It was nicely presented, there was plenty of it and it was delicious. We were too full for pudding so we asked for the bill which we received promptly. The service throughout was truly excellent, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We look forward to another visit in the future."

"We went to this restaurant for a Father's Day lunch with a party of 4 people. The food and service were both excellent. However, it was a very hot day and unfortunately the restaurant did not have air conditioning. We recommend that the restaurant invest in air conditioning to provide a more comfortable dining experience."

"This place was amazing. As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere was warming and welcoming. The service was second to none. We sat down and ordered the food. I went for the ribs, not my normal 1st choice (a burger is always haha! But goodness me, they were delicious, the meat fell off the bones and then sides were delish, I really liked the feta cheese with lime n chilli. The others I was there with had fish n chips and the burger. Whilst we were waiting for the mains, we were presented with 3x ham hock n cheese crockets, WOW..... thank you!! Needless to say, not a scrap of food was left (except my bones Thank you, I will be revisiting. "Love this place. When I need a decaf (can't have too many full cafs as a breastfeeding mum! I head straight here. The coffee is so smooth and full bodied. The hot chocolate is delicious, too none of that powdery Costa ****! The banana bread served warm with butter is a must try. Note: F&G won't suit everyone. If you like a greasy fry up, spit and gossip type of caf, I wouldn't recommend. This place has young, hip staff and serves nutritious salads and healthy looking sandwich type things that are a little on the pricier side. But everything is delicious and everyone is super friendly and helpful! Plus, they do a loyalty card, that you can't go wrong with!"

"Our experience at this restaurant was a bit odd. Despite having enjoyed many family meals there in the past, our recent lunch visit was a bit confusing. When we sat down, we were given a variety of menus for kids, lunch, and dinner. The waitress initially forgot to give us the drink menu, but quickly rectified the mistake. We struggled to make a decision on our food order due to the many delicious options. However, when we finally made our choices from the lunch menu, we were informed that it was no longer available as it was after 3pm. This was frustrating as we had just decided on our meals. Despite the hiccup, the food we ordered from the other menus was good, particularly the pizza and garlic bread. The carbonara was a bit dry, but that could be personal preference. We were disappointed that we couldn't order more drinks as no one seemed available to take our order. Overall, it was a strange experience and we felt it could have been handled better, especially since many dishes were available on multiple menus."
