Ordered delivery: got very few chips and my sausage batter was over fried and sloppily done. Other chippys close by offer more at better quality for the same price. Nothing wow. Just regular fish and chips that is breaded a lot so you feel the bread more than the fish. I also ordered the mac and cheese and was not impressed as I did mot like that the shredded cheese was a bit more than expected. I’m not sure I can recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere was not there, the food was average and the service even less than average. Took a while for food to arrive (just simple fish and chips), ordered a coffee (which you would think comes out at the same time as other drinks, but no, had to wait a while). Had to constantly ask for sauces or sugar. I mean only came here as per friend’s recommendation but I am not sure Catch has caught my attention. Ordered the vegan, tasted off and gave me a stomach asch, I only eat a little but when I came to the talk with then the man at the counter/one of the cooks possibly the owner started yelling at me that there's nothing to do about is and telling me that what it is and to go away. Never even got to asking for a refund but he wouldn't talk to me didn't ask what was wrong and said he doesn't care. Terrible experience and worse food. Excellent restaurant and take away , have visited here many times now and won’t be too long until I return, always been impressed firstly by the ambiance, secondly by the staff service, although each time seems to be different staff servicing the restaurant the friendly and welcoming way they do their job is very pleasant. Last but not Least, the food is delicious, every time is most enjoyable and makes you want to return, which indeed I will do again.
