"Booked a table as staying in accommodation at Leeds Castle, received a nice welcome , friendly staff member and shown to table. Order was taken and food was delivered quickly. Both ordered the fish and chips. Unfortunately the chips had been far too heavily salted for our taste buds. The battered cod, although hot, was really soggy, batter not crisp at all, and to make matters worse had been laid on the crushed peas, so steam from the peas had added to the soggy batter. Once finished eating what we could, waited ages for plates to be cleared, in the end gave up and went to pay, so no desserts ordered or coffee etc. Would appear that other tables were also waiting for their plates to be cleared and gave up as well not sure if just short staffed. Did mention the disappointment in the dinner when paying and the staff were extremely apologetic and discounted the bill this was not our request at all) it was a shame, as our wedding anniversary, lovely restaurant and of course over looking Leeds Castle to should have been a fab evening."

Beautiful stay in Leeds Castle. Nice room with all ameneties. Good bed and bathroom. High quality restaurant with a outstanding chef!

This restaurant is like a smaller version of Warwick Castle, with less focus on activities for children. It's a great spot to visit for a few hours.

Lovely venue for an anniversary dinner, we have been many times before, this time wasn’t as good as other visits they seem to give preferential treatment if you are staying, we are local so don’t need to stay, staff always very attentive and professional just lacked something this time

Generally an enjoyable evening. Fish and chips was not quite up to standard as the batter was not crispy but instead was very oily and may have been sitting for a while. Wife had pork belly which she very much enjoyed. Service was good and ambience very pleasant. Overall would visit again but chose a different main.
