This place is simply great. We could make a reservation online. The staff has been super friendly. The bistecca fiorentina was one of the best in that region. All in all: go visit. It is a small place with a lot of charm and great food wine.

wonderful place in the hills of short. clean rooms, quiet, equipped with all the essential and set up in local style. breakfast enriched with homemade cakes and the kindness of the owners. large garden and large outdoor parking. recommended!

We rented a villa in Piazzano for 6 weeks and frequented this restaurant (5 times). The amount of Truffle in the Raviolli and the sharing platter is amazing. A lovely local family run restaurant with exceptional food. Highly recommend. House wine also very good. Voir le carte

We arrived without reservation at 8pm on a Saturday night and were shown a table under cover outdoors which was very pleasant. The antipasti and first course choice had a good choice of meat free options. Main courses are mostly meat, we had chicken in lemon or green pepper source which was delicious. Decent own label wine for €10 a bottle. Very good service. Reasonable prices and good value.

We ate here the first time in the heat of last summer. It was delicious but so hot and hard to savor the meal. Ate here again tonight. Molto buono!! The eggplant appetizer is amazing. I had Pici Carbonara and loved it. My husband had pollo con Funghi not a bite was left. We finished by sharing a slice if a vanilla semifreddo with a crust and topping of meringue. Perfect finish. Did I mention the perfect house wine! Will come again

Nice venue a few km away from Cortona in the valley. Looked welcoming and charming on arrival. Front of house staff a bit abrupt and disappeared leaving us stranded. Felt uncomfortable. Finally found our way into an undercover outdoor eating area. Nice table in the corner. Very popular place with lots of locals. Food and wine very good, tasty and well presented. If they had been more attentive on arrival we would have given 5*. Will revisit. Voir le carte

The menu offers local specialities. The portion sizes were very large and we found we were unable to finish our delicious meals. We had the cheese platter, black Tuscan toast and Capaccio for starters followed by the gnocchi with meat sauce, hamburger, pici with rabbit sauce and the vitello tonnato all were delicious. The house white wine was great and at €10 a bargain. Would highly recommend this restaurant and if we had time we would certainly visit again. We booked via “the fork”and were given a 20% discount of the meals and drinks this discounters automatically applied and we didn’t have to ask for it.

I travel for work and sleeping in a hotel and/or eating in a restaurant is normal for me. That said, I hardly found myself in a similar situation. We were served meat dishes that I would not even have offered to my dog: Jugged wild boar (in my opinion, those who have cooked do not even know what jugged is) wicked, accompanied by pitted black olives (definitely canned or in a supermarket bag) thrown on the plate to decorate what is unknown. Sliced steak with green pepper, in a broth of water, with a bitter taste due to the burns on the meat, inflicted by the cooking grill. In short, a real disgust !!! Despite our grievances, the dishes were both counted on the bill It was late, I did not want...

I visited this restaurant with my husband as it was close by. It’s situated in a small village and you enter the restaurant from the car park via the beautiful garden and lawn. We were shown into an area which was open but undercover. I ordered a starter of courgettes that were very thinly sliced and covered in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar and flavoured with thyme and basil. It was enormous but so good. My husband ordered the salad which again was substantial. We both ordered fillet steak, mine was with truffle and my husband’s came with a mustard and green pepper sauce.
