I then confronted her with the too small pizza. she took a customs and took sporadic measurements. the result was as foreseen 26.5 cm, even the 2nd test showed only just under 27 cm. then she showed me a fresh sheet from the kitchen of approx. 30 cm diameter and constantly stressed, that are 30 cm. I said to eat the pizza so well, that was okay. from the beginning a cutlery was missing, that was not corrected all the time and my friend gave his wife his cutlery after he was finished. although my drink was almost empty all the time, no one brought me a new one. although it was an empty glass crust. the foods were tastefully good, the pizza had delivery service quality also visual. so nothing special. at the payment the waiter asked me if I had cleared everything. then I said that a little attention in the form of a grappa would be very nice. he confirmed this cordially and asked the chefin. Unfortunately, she denied this, then we went. as bamberger I was the first and last time there and was actually unfortunately disappointed and according to the law actually even cheated."

Casa Vendo, in the Casa Italia hotel complex, is pleasant and inexpensive. It has an Italian-based menu, of course, but also offers some traditional Bavarian dishes. A 1/2 liter of Pinot Grigio, a Pizza Frutti di Mare, and a very large Saltimabocca Romana came to 41 Euros. The food was excellent. The complex is in the heart of Bamberg, on Dominikaner Strasse, a short distance from the Old Town Hall.
