"Acabé en Tenerife con la premisa de ni siquiera mirar un restaurante italiano, si es que alguna vez lo encontraba, sino que acabé acaparando muy a menudo en este pequeño y encantador local de San Miguel D 'Abona. La Moca se presenta como un lugar tranquilo, bien cuidado y muy limpio (incluso los servicios): a pocos pasos de allí la vista de la isla es amplia y va desde la montaña hasta el océano. En todos los viajes que he hecho, con sinceridad despiadada, no recuerdo un lugar que encarnara mejor un espíritu italiano tan genuino que Moca : el personal es muy, muy amable y simpático, siempre muy servicial y educado, el entusiasmo radiante del chef entonces es omnipresente, haciendo que cualquiera que pase por allí se sienta inmediatamente como en casa. Le apasiona mucho su trabajo y esto se traduce muy rápidamente en los platos que prepara: la comida aquí es increíblemente buena, no innecesariamente complicada, pero tremendamente buena. Me cuesta pensar en un restaurante en Italia con platos de igual calidad... y he visto algunos lugares.
