"We went here last night. We were two grandparents and two granddaughters aged 7 and 10. First I would say that the food was OK. However, we arrived at 7 o’clock and it took over an hour to get our starters. We had been put in a back corner and I believe basically forgotten about. We had to ask to order in the first place then were dismayed to see that tables that arrived after us had both their courses and left before we finished our starters. Eventually when we finished our main course and pointed this out to the Manager, we were told that it was because spaghetti takes a long time to cook. I know that this is certainly not the case. An apology and acceptance of the errors would have been much better than a lame and unrealistic excuse and the offer of two free childrens’ ice creams. Also the situation was exacerbated by the amount of takeaways being cooked and sent out. It is a shame that takeaways take precedent over customers in a restaurant."

A very friendly atmosphere. All food is freshly cooked, with amazing service. We have visited Olney Kitchen twice now, and been impressed on both occasions. Nothing is too much trouble. It is wonderful I always came here as a kid and they never failed to please me with their amazing food , the service is so good and the owner of the place is probably the nicest person I have ever met in my life!! Ordered a takeaway. The worst I’ve had in a long time. Watery sauce and tiny bits of chicken for £14. Called to complain and was told nothing we will do, the manager is back tomorrow and I’m just a waitress so can’t do anything. A bit if a joke. Rude staff that couldn’t care less. Shame as it used to be so good. Don’t bother is my advice. Service: Take out
