"Me and my grandma decided to visit loggerheads as she hadn’t been in a while and we we hoping to enjoy a drink and sandwich outside in the sun. When we arrived the queue was out the door and it seemed the cafe was severely understaffed. We waited in the queue for around 20 minutes before being served. The cakes and sugar cubes were being surrounded by wasps from outside. We ordered a tea, iced coffee and 2 sandwiches (avoided the wasp cakes) which came to a huge £21.10. The tea was way too strong (pouring out black) and only a tiny amount of milk was given. We were told the coffee would be brought to us along with the sandwiches. We sat outside in the sun and when our sandwiches arrived we were rudely told we couldn’t sit on the table we were sitting on as it was too far on the grass area (about 30m) and all other seats outside were either taken or overrun by wasps. We then decided to sit inside. There was no coffee brought to the table so we then had to ask for them to make it again. It was served in a plastic ice cream sundae dish with about 70% of it being ice. My grandma asked a kind worker (seemed to be from Liverpool) if she could have a new tea and she was absolutely lovely and happily fetched a new one. She was probably the only pleasant worker we spoke to. The sandwiches were on really thick bread with a dark and thick stem salad. There was no cutlery provided which we had to ask for again. We felt rude having to push in the queue just to keep asking for things we hadn’t been given. We were both in agreement that we wouldn’t be rushing back there again. The cafe has so much potential but just seems to be doing everything wrong."

Probably one of the best breakfasts and freshly cooked homemade scones ever eaten! Staff super friendly. Highly recommend this place especially after a good walk or ride.

Mediterranean salad. Best I have ever had. It was down as a light bite, but this was a meal. A whole roasted pointed sweet red pepper, was the first of many unexpected treats! I lost count of the individual foods on my plate. But it would’ve been over 20. Polyphenol extravaganza!!!

We called on a Saturday afternoon with our grandson The waitress was surly and looked like she didn’t want to be there After ordering two coffees, a bottle of water, two pieces of cake and a small kids ice cream we were charged nearly £17 Daylight robbery I’d say The ladies toilet was out of order but no sign on it just a chair in front of door Not a great experience Won’t be calling again

Went for mid week breakfast and was served by a lovely young man (wore glasses, didn't catch his name). Water glass was dirty with bits in it. The female member of staff didn't offer an apology but simply threw the water out and refilled the same glass. When I asked her for a fresh glass she rolled her eyes and handed the glass her male colleague as if my request was too much for her. This girl shouldn't be anywhere near customers, she obviously thinks service is beneath her. Voir le carte

I walk through loggerheads 2/3 times a week, I rarely visit the cafe due to the shocking coffee they serve, yesterday I gave it another chance, paying £10.05 for 2 coffees and a flapjack, the coffee was none existent in our drinks, it was a cup of warm milky water…..terrible obviously trying to save on coffee, it’s a rip off !! I also reluctantly purchased a flapjack for my granddaughter, £3.65, it was like a fat ball, disgusting taste, after leaving the cafe, we popped into the gift shop, they sold flapjack too, £1.50 if only we had gone in there first. Hopefully someone from the cafe will read this; and try the flapjack and coffee and make some improvements, I’d love to make this a regular...

After finishing a walk around loggerheads we had promised my little girl an ice cream as a treat! We got to the cafe and stood in the queue for ice cream only to be told by the guy serving that they were closed! He was serving people in front of us ice cream! There was no one behind us at all and we said we were disappointed but we’re just ignored! We were left with a very confused and upset little girl as people were still being served ice cream with lots of people sat on the tables eating ice cream! He wasn’t interested and continued to serve several ice creams to the people in front of us. The time was 16:02! Very disappointing and bad attitude from the guy serving! Safe to say we’ll go e...

I am not sure what to make of this cafe, it took a long time to be served in a queue of 5 people, 20 minutes or so, a long time waiting. Prices seemed quite high for food , we just had drinks. I was told drinks had to be in paper cups as we were sat on the grass, so I said we'd move to the concrete, unfortunately as I got outside there were no tables available as people were sat waiting for the partners to be served, a little while later the guy that served us came out and cleared a table and just shook his head at us, I did find this quite rude. When we'd finished we put the tray with cups on a table on the concrete area. I understand the rules but what were we meant to do, ask them to then... Voir le carte

Really shocked at the terrible experience I had today at at Caffi Florence. It is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. No one expects to enter a cafe with a child and be shouted at! That is unfortunately what happened today and my friend’s daughter was really upset. I went to try and buy ice creams at the window of the cafe and was asked to go inside so that I could be served there. I went inside and the manager proceeded to shout at us, saying the cafe was closed. Meanwhile other people were being served right in front of us! She wouldn’t accept my explanation as to why we had come inside and was incredibly rude. I then left only to see several other people being served ice...

Part of my family live near Chester, we live in Suffolk. It was my grandsons 18th birthday and we were joining them in Wales to celebrate. My grandson had other things going on later in the day so we decided that we would meet for breakfast. I called Caffi Florence to book a table for 7 of us at 0900 on the day. I was told that they didn't take bookings and they didn't open until 1000 however after I explained about it being my grandsons 18th the lady on the end of the phone arranged for staff to come in earlier so that we could have breakfast at 0900. There was plenty of space and the young man who served us was very helpful, he put two tables together. We had an excellent breakfast. It was...

"Went for afternoon tea with my wife, using an 'experience ' voucher from a well known site, costing £35.99 absolute disaster! The description said 'sit down in the sophisticated dining room and tuck into a section of finger sandwiches, tantalising cakes, pastries, macarons and scones with clotted cream and jam. You won 't want this afternoon to end! ' Trust me, we could not get out of their quick enough and go and find somewhere to get something to eat. The sophisticated dining room was a large, cold room with only a couple of other diners, sticky wooden tables, with no table cloths, just a flimsy paper napkin and a knife and fork. We ordered a coffee and a tea, which came in the smallest teapot, I have ever seen. Later in the meal, when we asked for another drink, we were told that was extra and were charged another £5.70. The food was nothing like as described or pictured on the website. A sad looking selection of sandwiches four quarters each of thin sliced bread one containing a very small piece of processed ham, a second mashed up egg, third was some sort of fish, not sure if it was salmon or tuna; and finally some sort of green leaf with something wet on top it looked like the sandwich had been made days earlier and then sat upon! No pastries or macarons but the two scones with clotted cream and two little pots of jam were OK, however the remaining small cakes were dreadful, none of them were fresh there were two eclairs that were inedible, either the cream or chocolate was off and they were very dry; two little red velvet cakes, which again were dry and horrible; and finally two small pieces of carrot cake that were the least objectionable but again very dry. When we told the waitress the eclairs, she said she would tell the chef but no offer of an alternative. True, it was an unforgettable experience, but not in the way we had expected! We have had afternoon teas in top hotels, pubs, cafes and well known garden centres and nothing came close to being as bad as this meal. Needless to say we will never return and would strongly advise caution if anyone is thinking of going here."
