We really enjoyed coffee and apple strudel here. It was fresh and very delicious. The servers were very nice and the outdoor seating was perfect.

Sit outside on a warm day and you will enjoy the view of the old and beautiful buildings as well as the absolutely marvelous cake varieties and the great cappuccino.

Perfect setting, the bakery had a tremendous selection of tarts, cakes, chocolates, and candies. Service was friendly and swift despite the large crowds due to Ascension Day. Recommend. Voir le carte

Sadly the cakes were old. We looked forward to coffee and cake, the traditional German Kaffee und Kuchen, and we were told the cakes are backed once a week, and sure enough, they were old and not very good. Coffee and tea was fine!

we found this caffe by chance when we walked along the market road and decided to stop as konditorei was a good sign! we sat outside in comfortable chairs with sun umbrellas, but also the sitting area in the inner is bright, bright and welcoming.

Cafe Schuler has been here since at least the the first time I came was in the early and it has been the place that I never miss when in Germany even if it is a bit of a drive. The...cakes are moist and delicious, order at the counter and then head back to order coffee and tea. The chocolates were something we carried back to the US, to be savored on special occasions. Other reviewers have said Café Schuler has the “best cake and chocolate on the planet,” or is overpriced and unfriendly to children’s strollers. I find it to be none of these. It has top quality cakes and chocolate at prices that are reasonable for the...quality. A sign restricts strollers from the back room, which is carpeted. They permit strollers in all the front rooms. This seems a petty point from a local reviewer. On our visit, every seat was taken. The clientele appeared to be people who regularly vacation in the area and are known by the staff. We found this cafe on the off chance whilst walking along Marktstrasse and decided to stop as it said Konditorei a good sign! We sat outside in comfortable chairs with sun umbrellas but the inside seating area is also light, bright and inviting. The staff are friendly and were patient as I ordered in limited German! You choose your cakes inside and are given a ticket, the waiter then brings the cakes to your table. We arrived early and there was an amazing array of cakes and pastries to choose from, as well as chocolates and ice cream.
