Cafe Rouge - Carte

The food was wasn’t as good as pre covid. The whole place just feels run down and outdated. Disappointed we chose to spend our Father’s Day lunch here.

The restaurant has a wonderful variety of gelato and the staff are quite welcoming. However, it can be challenging to find a seat in the cozy outdoor area, especially during peak times.

Great venue, superb coffee, excellent pastries and the service from Bertrand was prompt, informative and extremely entertaining! We didn’t need breakfast the food looked gorgeous! An absolute must when visiting Windsor. Voir le carte

We made the mistake of relying upon the reputation of other Café Rouge outlets to have lunch here. Located in the historic railway station complex in Windsor, it is busy only because of passing tourists, but most certainly not because of the food or service. While the servers were friendly enough, the food was poor (especially for the prices) and service was painfully slow. There are absolutely better places to eat, so don't bother with this place.

This restaurant offers a selection of French style cooking. The food was tasty, the staff welcoming and it's a nice building. I enjoyed the pie which was full of filling, had yummy pastry and came with some lovely mash. The sea bass was good, however, some of the new potatoes were still a bit crunchy. We both had sticky toffee pudding and they were served at room temperature, we decided the ice cream would not survive them being warmed up so just ate them cold.

Avoid at all cost, cafe rouge took my money and booking for an afternoon tea but the Windsor restaurant is closed and they won’t refund my money, booked via Buyagift and only after a complaint was my money refunded by buyagift, have complained to cafe rouge press office three times and no response very poor experience. Be advised that cafe rouge are still taking bookings but they have closed over twelve restaurants and still taking reservations for the closed ones. Voir le carte

a restaurant in Malaysia, I noticed that the tourist spots are usually crowded with people. Today, the restaurant we visited was no exception. Despite the crowds, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We tried a variety of traditional Malaysian dishes such as nasi lemak and satay, and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and bustling, making it a great place to experience authentic Malaysian cuisine. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and a must-visit for anyone looking to try Malaysian food.

Having booked before departing to Windsor, we arrived saying hello to the barman, To be replied to by a lady behind him. we 're closed There were people eating! We showed our booking email to which she shouted to another waitress these lot want afternoon brunch. (There were 3 of us ladies). To which I thought no we can 't eat here they were so angry it was like wed trailed shi* through the restaurant. The barman said no its fine but tbh the way we were spoken to was disgraceful, We ended up in Bills who said they 'd had disgruntled customers from there before. Shame really as we were looking for to it.

Yet again Café Rouge was appalling. We visited Windsor for a few days away and decided to have dinner at Café Rouge on our last night. The service was poor and the food we ordered was very poor value for money. The Duck Confit was mainly made up of potatoes, no sauce and not good value for money. My wife had beef bourguignon, it was mainly gravy with very little meat and some potato., again very poor value for money. The drinks were very expensive and the waiter took three attempts to get our bill right. Our local Café Rouge in Ruislip and also in Pinner closed down last year where we had a very similar poor experience of food and service. NEVER go to Café Rouge. Voir le carte
