Not posh but friendly staff and good food. One of my favourite places.

Very good family Italian. Great service and food. Desserts looked nice as well.

My absolute favourite lunchtime Italian haunt!! Great homemade food at very reasonable prices. Their Cannoli is great too... Really friendly staff, a lovely team of people, service always with a smile!! The best Coffee in town too! Fab. X

The staff were very kind and service was quick! The diavolo pizza (pepperoni pizza) tasted great and the portions sizes were more than adequate. Would love to see a thick crust pizza! The atmosphere was relaxed and homely. Everything was reasonably priced Next time I will try the tiramisu

Classic Italian dishes on the menu (pasta ,pizza etc) at very reasonable prices (great price lunchtime menu too),nice atmosphere in restaurant which has 2 floors. Great friendly staff too.Booking recommended at weekends especially for large groups. Located close to curve theatre..ideal for pre show meal.

eating was delicious, the staff was super friendly and efficient. large vegan and gluten-free options for an Italian, including 2 vegan dessert options! I couldn't blame! came here alone to get out of the house for a bit and so glad I did, had a wonderful evening and a really nice place to eat alone. ambiente is beautiful, not too busy and much space between tables thank you roma! I will be back

I really cant fault the place! Accommodating, on all requests, service with a smile, ambiance was lovely! This is my second time to cafe Roma and honestly even if i have a better meal else where (the food is lovely by the way) the service from the staff and general friendliness and willingness to give you what you want (even if it isn't on the menu) brings this place to a must visit restaurant. I shall return many more times in the future. I appreciated the service so much,.... i've left a review! Thank you!

Tried a platter made up of three types of pasta and each one was delicious.You can choose any three for £19, which sounds fantastic. Tried the tiramisu and it was the best I've ever had, it had a boozy flavour but wasn't strong at all. Liking a cloud melting in your mouth. Cocktails were good too and free water was offered. Staff were friendly but not very attentive, didn't come ask on is everything the older chef came in from having a smoke and didn't wash his hands before starting to cook and the other chef I saw only washed his hands once the whole time I was there. I had full full of the kitchen and pot wash/sink to see what was what. Food wasn't very authentic. The spaghetti was al dente but the chilli and garlic spaghetti the Chilli just overpowered it that you couldn't taste anything else the carbonara tasted it was more creamy than with eggs and the vegetables were more mushrooms than any other veg but didn't have a great deal of flavor the Parmesan cheese was in a salt pot type thing and it was more th...
