Cafe Luitpold - Menu

Unfortunately, the service is very bad and the quality of the desserts that we have tried is very average, especially if you consider the price a very disappointing experience I would not recommend it

Ordered a lasagna which costed 30 euros. Consisted of 3 lasagna sheets, hard, chewy meat and had no sauce. 2 out of three deserts were quite ok though. The place is extremely overpriced and is NOT worth it. Would absolutely not recommend.

Ordered lamb and lasagna. Lasagna was ok nothing to complain about but also nothing great. The lamb on the other hand, was just unacceptable. I had a surprise, sharp, about 1cm big glass piece in the side of taboule. Luckily I had just started biting...down and it got caught between my teeth instead of in tongue or throat or worse! In the end did not pay for the lamb but NOTHING can excuse sharp glass in food.

My husband took me to Cafe Luitpol for breakfast for my birthday. We both chose a set breakfast from the menu which sounded like a lot of food so I wasn´t sure, but because it sounded so yummy we decided to go for it anyway....When the waiter came with the order we were shocked, it was so tiny , we´ve never seen anything like that, even for fancy places. The amount of food was so little that even the smoothie was on the plate to fill up the space. We were obviously still hungry afterwards so after paying a ridicolously expensive bill we decided to go somewhere else for a proper breakfast. Fancy is ok, little portions can also be ok, but this....this is the biggest rip off! don´t go there! be...

We found this place as soon as we arrived in Munich after a long ride so we decided to stop for a small coffee and to go to the toilet. My mom and my boyfriend asked for a deca and I went to the bathroom....After that, my mom followed me there. We lost her phone and I then found it outside and I brought her coffee with me and and an employer started shouting at my mom she had to pay for her coffee in an aggressive way. She then stated she already paid and he kept going on saying she had to pay. After that my mom wanted to confront him about that as that’s not professional at all and just said he was “maleducato” which means he was RUDE. we were there together with our 8 months without reservation during the day for lunch. it was full and no one has greeted us and led us to a table. we went in and asked them until they turned us to the...people with a black jacket. strange for such a famous restaurant. then he took us to a table. waited 10 minutes to get menus, and when we got them, we asked English and the person responsible for our table said we did not leave. after a few minutes, when no one came, we stopped someone and asked for a baby chair, and we got a dirty chair in the opposite way, there was still eating on it. after 10 minutes we have to order. it was quite difficult to stay 3 a baby on a 2 person table. fortunate...

Very disappointing experience and do not recommend this place after several visits. In general the service is slow and unfriendly but our last visit made it clear that this place does not value its customers. So if you don’t to ruin your morning don’t go...there. My husband and I waited for 10 mins in line before hostess approached us. As we did not have a reservation she said we have to wait, so we stepped a side and waited. Two couples behind had reservation but the hostess did not offer them a table also and they also had to wait for some time because the place was full so I guess the overall management is bad. I chose this place after seeing several mentions in the Michelin Guide and some Raving reviews. I booked a table for 4 in the palmtree room well in advance as I wanted the full experience, this was the end of a trip with...friends I hadn't seen for over 2 years because of the pandemic.
