Nice cafe with good service on a nice Square close to the nice Liebfrauenberg Kirche (Church) Pleasant when the SUN shines in old Frankfurt city

Recent visit to Frankfurt to see Coldplay, visited the cafe twice for breakfast, good selection, pleasant service and food was excellent. Would definitely visit again if ever back in Frankfurt.

Decor is probably the main reason why you'd want to visit this place. The coffee is just OK, but definitely overpriced. The same goes for cakes. Haven't tried the food. Seems like a tourist trap. Voir le carte

Nice cafe on good location. Good place to have a cake, coffee, beer. Both large terrace and nice interior. Reasonable prices. Nothing special on this place, however beats big cafeteria-chains easy.

This place does not look fancy at first glance, much more like an old school coffee-shop for elder ladies whoa re very much into sweets. But this is not. There is a special atmosphere in this place, hard to explain. It is a bit like fallen out of time, like time stands still. That is why I like it.

We celebrated the morning of our 35th wedding anniversary with a lovely breakfast at the Cafe Liebfrauenberg. They have a terrific menu which includes breakfast. They aren't far off the square and we walked from their to the Cathedral. They had a large outdoor area with tables and umbrellas, plus seating inside. I had a toast with Apfelwine. It was later than regular lunch hours so the serrvice was fast. The toast with turkey breast, mozarella and hot tomatoes didn't look so appealing but tasted quite ok. The Apfelwine was refreshing with only a little alcohol. In summary the place was nothing special but maybe not a disappointment either. Tips not included. I gave 10% extra and the waitress looked satisfied.

Came in here for a lunch, and ordered a salad. The waitress, smoking her cigarette, finally arrived and dumped two plates of something unrecognisable in front of us. It looked like a brown soup, as everything was hidden in a sea of balsamico, probably to hide the fact that nothing in the salad was fresh. Quite possibly the worst attempt at a meal I have ever come across, with service to match, but with prices like a Michelin restaurant! Avoid!

When we visited this cafe the idea was that we would simply have some coffee and cake. We left after the manager and his waitress were fighting openly in the restaurant over our table as the manager gave it to us but she wanted it from us after we said down. Then in the middle of our order the managers brother called and of course that call was more important than the customer. The icing on the cake we never had was he wanted us to get up and get a voucher for the cake even though the cake was in front of us. The fighting amongst staff, the service and the general ambiance was not normal. The good news is that we left and we went to the lovely cafe around the corner named "IImori" which we r...
