Good value for your money. Beautiful art to admire and if you feel like it you can buy the paintings. Good service and free wi-fi. I really liked the cellery soup with truffel and the mussels with camenbert was great together with the recomended wine. I can recomend this place

Nous avons visité le Café des Artistes le vendredi soir alors qu'il n'y avait pas du tout de monde. Le serveur nous a vraiment fait sentir les bienvenus et a pris soin de nous personnellement. I think the most fashionable restaurant I ate at in Schoenberg while staying in the neighborhood. On a quiet leafy side street. Sit at the white table cloth tables outside. I had their excellent business lunch special not only well presented but excellent quality. The waiters also seemed to take things more seriously than the other casual places nearby. Best of class in this area.

Nous étions trois au Café des Artistes pour le dîner et chacun avait une entrée, un plat et un dessert. L'entrée était excellente soupe aux pois avec pétoncles, tartare de saumon et ris de veau, extraordinaire, parfaitement préparée et délicieuse. L'entrecôte de bœuf avec divers plats d'accompagnement était également parfaite. Bar Café des Artistes is a wonderful neighborhood bar with sidewalk seating and tables to drink specialty cocktails, and watch the gayborhood stroll by during the evening. Although I don 't think it identifies as a gay bar, when we went all the customers appeared to be. This is why I love Berlin. Gay life is thoroughly woven into the fabric of the neighborhoods and community; it 's not set apart. Too bad the US is so far behind! We had a great time during happy hour.
