"We were cutting through the Museum Quarter on a Friday evening on our way to a different restaurant when we spotted Corbaci. Luckily, after one look at our original destination we decided to go back and are so glad we did!The setting; is trendy and casual which is just enough against the beautiful tiled ceiling. However, don't let the laid back bar atmosphere put you off the quality of the traditional dishes available. The food; blew us away! There was a good variety on the menu of both meat and vegetarian options. I had roast pork with pretzel dumplings and radish salad, and my mum had Austrian sausage in a cheese and green beans sauce, with sautéed potatoes. Both were absolutely delicious, high quality and great portion sizes. We each finished with apple strudel with custard which was served fresh and piping hot and some of the best I've ever tasted. We were definitely full by the end!The service; our waiter was brilliantly attentive and friendly, making jokes with us in English and helping us with anything we needed. He really topped off a wonderful evening. Value; having each had a glass of wine and 2 courses we paid a total of 52 Eur with a well deserved tip. Amazing value for such high quality food and service. We would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Austrian meal who can enjoy a slightly less than traditional setting."
