"Very cozy coffee shop. I really liked the patio seating by the fountain outside but the inside has comfy chairs. They can do table service if you dine in but you can also just order and pay at the counter. It seems very popular with the hipster crowd but based on my experience it can be a welcoming place for anyone. The two baristas were both cheerful and patient with my not good German. The menu is very vegan friendly there are vegan options for sandwiches and baked goods, and there’s oat milk for drinks. I got a Blumenkohl panini, a Mandelkuchen, and a Chai Latte. I was a fan of the panini, the smashed cauliflower in was actually very flavourful with curry esque spices. No complaints on the latte. The Mandelkuchen fell short of my expectations, I thought it was on the dry side, although the strong almond flavour was nice. If I had been able to see a cross section of this before I ordered, I would’ve gotten something else the cake hadn’t been cut into yet when I ordered. The other cake slices looked better. Everything is priced reasonably my total was about €14. It’s the kind of place I’d probably go to all the time if I lived here."

Sunday is cake day and we love the cake at Blum! Anything with nuts, but the Nuss-Nougat is my favourite! The chocolate raspberry is great too.

Café Blumen is in a quite central location. Their interior design is very well picked and makes a really cozy atmosphere. And for the hot days they also have outdoor seating. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and also have vegan cake and focaccia. Worth to stop by.

Today I had a lust on cake and was not disappointed. besides vegan banana bread there was a very tasty, juicy, vegan pumpkin cake. also a vegan stew was on the day card. perfect for lunch break. everything is also available to take. after: so far I also have the vegan brownies best brownie I've ever had!

I found this little cafe accidentaly on my way to Naturhistorisches Museum. They have really good espresso and a decent choice of cakes, among them vegan ones too, and small snacks like sandviches with various fillings. And they are actually not small a grilled...vegetable sandvich was enough for me until dinner Atmosphere is friendly and cosy. For espresso and grilled vegetable sandvich I payed E. Voir le carte

cafe flowers is a beautiful place, beautifully located in the center of mainz and great to have a coffee and watch how people pass. it is part of the club already beautiful and so it is open all night in the round. they always have some vegan cakes in the offer (their banana bread is great and always there, the brownies are a tad dry). they also offer some salads and suppen and a panini sandwich that are in order, but small and a bit expensive for what they are. updated from the previous review on 2016-08-26

this is my favorite place in mainz! to take a bite or quickly refill my batteries with a coffee, this place is also the perfect place to cool with a good book or a magazine! eating tastes amazing (try the...Chili con tofu, insanely delicious). and nothing can beat her bucks. give it to the banana croco bread. not only the place is super cozy (Retro-Möbel, love it! but the personal is lovely! Big-up to cat pegah, always so smiling and cheerful! They make every day when I show up! If I were her, I would definitely pass!

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."

"equipment very cool, tables are very narrow, everything is more to dry. theke and the ceiling lamps are nice but the rest are uncomfortable. clear but varied card.Availing comes promptly, distributed menus and takes up quite unfriendly the order. ach the leberknödel are out, you can also tell if the cards are distributed! Then the note that today everything takes longer because in the kitchen are out. (the local has 40 places and is only half occupied). then come the appetizers. crostini bean tapenade....very oily, and after that you are already fed up, the main dish could be ordered. also the other appetizers are too much, rather share something!!Naja the main dish should take something, so the initial note. Nothing here, the first food comes, the appetizers have not yet been cleared. hectic, then the note in the kitchen had gone a bit wrong. well I eat alone, my 4 companions watch. The calves are not crispy, the panad falls off and is fat-savvy and the meat is not tender. also the bratkartoffels are very fat and by no means crispy. the other eats are dry (hirschgulasch) and the kartoffelstampf is also extra enriched with fat/oil. Conclusion, there are much more beautiful, more cozy restaurants in mainz, with more professionalism and ambiente. you can also eat better and then usually has more space available and more friendly service. for bistroambiente, moderate eating and missing professionalism too expensive."
