Very relaxed with excellent food and service. I have been several times and will be going again. My only complaint is that they don't open later at night. The food and atmosphere would make a great dinner date.

Went there this Saturday for brunch. Ordered a Spanish omelette. Pretty sure it was a reheat! Was tasteless, hard and lukewarm. Went to Tesco cafe the next day. Much better food. Used to really enjoy cafe Alba but the quality has went right down.

Waiting staff very thorough taking our order. Kitchen staff can’t read. Plain mushroom omelette nothing but mushroom and egg Sorry they made it with onions we will make another Made the second one with cheese Made us wait for the third one Saw the guy... Voir le carte

My wife and I recently enjoyed lunch at the Cumbernauld restaurant, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The young staff here are excellent, supported by the more experienced team members. They all have the skills to work in any top-class restaurant in the country. As a former dining room steward in the Merchant Navy for 4 years, I can recognize great service when I see it.

9/10 times we have a fantastic time here. Sometimes seems understaffed though staff too busy to come check on you etc but it's understandable. Everything we have tried here food wise has been lovely, especially the cakes, which taste homemade. Unfortunately had a bad experience on Monday but staff were very nice about it and didn't charge me for the meal we had to send back. Really appreciate the service guys and will be back!

1/4/24 i read a review that they have scones as most cafés do I think they're HOMEMADE, but I will find out the next time i'm in Cumernod. Most scones r varied like plain, fruit, treacle, cheese cherry BUT in this café there r a few more that i've never heard of b4. So over you go check them all out. The person in the review had a lemon white chocolate one sang the praises of it that's ONE of the main reason i ventured over also to check out the many reviews. Well the lemon chocolate scones gets a 10/10 the only thing about it was a bit crumbly when I tried to cut it in halve as u can see, I forgot to ask if it could be heated up a wee bit, a few folks like them het up.
