"We were taken here by our friends (who are local) for the first time 2 weeks ago. Proper country pub with a serious passion for home grub . We took our 2 dogs and we were sat in the snug with a roaring fire, which was lovely. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The food was great, well presented and plentiful. I 'm sure we will be back over this way again and hopefully experience a sunny day Sat outside. Loved it."

Uncertain, booked the snail for 15 of us and had a great meeting. Food excellent, all served together, a lot of variety, with a wide selection of desserts.

I was here on numerous occasions and found it on site! I am vegetarian and have always enjoyed meals. The staff is really polite. I would definitely recommend!

First time visiting and won't be the last. Great pub, great prices and yummy food. Loads for kids to do, slides, climbing frames,sand pit, bouncy castle and few animals.

I was there twice and twice had the cake of the day... best pie ever! The staff smiles, efficient and helpful. My son had a burger and looked fantastic, my sister-in-law had “small” burgers that looked great to me! And the fire at the bar... cozy.

Really enjoyed this place, the staff were really friendly and polite the food was cooked rather fast and it tasted great. Loved the play area for my little boy too, kept him very entertained and he was so excited about being able to see the donkeys/ ponies in the fields a few yards away from where we sat.

Went there on 25th January for their Burns Night and was not disappointed. Food was excellent, well presented by friendly staff. Really good value for money with a Scottish piper, piping in and addressing the haggis and played the pipes afterwards. Great atmosphere in a genuine local country pub. Well done to staff and management at The Bull Butcher.

I'm going around a bit and this place is exactly what I like. Not stuffed, artistic, pretentious or false it does just what it does good food, good beer, good atmosphere. I had an ingenious lake bass, perfectly boiled, well presented and not to fill out the space for Pud! Applecake and Custard was a lot of apple and a pretty decent Custard. Sea Bass, apple cake and two beers under £25. Result! (I'm going back tonight!
