excellent little find, small cafe, very polite staff and reasonably priced, we had the lunch specials which included soup, sandwich and a cake. very good.

excellent breakfast, well presented, cooked for perfection, very inexpensive, pleasant staff, clean little caffe, but very limited choice when they go to lunch.

the food is consistently excellent. Homemade food, cakes, puds, and the staff are so helpful. Such value for money. The only problem is that sometimes you can`t get a table.

I called the chance that we were sitting within minutes to take the best breakfast I had in the time. this is a must place to eat boiled to order cake all house made staff very friendly. 10 of 10

Myself and a friend called in for breakfast on the way to RSPB Marshside. Breakfast was excellent value for money, very enjoyable on a friendly atmosphere. They also do take aways as well. Will certainly visit again.

Go here all the time with family. Cannot fault the place. Excellent staff Caroline and all the staff are great. Homemade cakes are the best. Never leave unhappy. Oh and never leave without bringing a cake home with us. Keep up the good work girls....SUPER .

Don't be put off by the HGVs in the yard or the limited parking, this is a very nice cafe with a good choice of food. I think it caters mainly for breakfasts as it opens at 8 30 and closes at 2 30 and...certainly the breakfast choices are very good. I had lunch (quiche with lots of trimmings) and a coffee and it cost just over £7.00.It was excellent The staff are very friendly and helpful and a lot of people are clearly regulars. It is quite small and may be worth a reservation at lunch time. I would certainly go again for breakfast or lunch.

we visited bryn cottage cafe for the first time today after the win of a voucher in a raffle. the food and the service were both excellent. the staff was very friendly and attentive. the food was delicious; to home made mushroom soup and a lancashire cheese and caramelized...red wobbles toastie for me, speck on toast for my daughter. everything was fresh and really delicious. we shared an amazing piece of chocolate cake for dessert. with two drinks would have been the bill £11.63 without the good certificate, which was a real bargain for the quality. the fact that I had only to pay £1.63 was even better.

Visited here with my son on a Wednesday for breakfast. Cafe and kitchen is spotlessly clean. There were 3 friendly ladies serving and they were nice and polite as well as professional and well presented. We ordered large breakfasts which consisted of two each fried...eggs beans sausage bacon tomatoes fried potatoes,which were really nice, and toast and butter, with tea also we asked for black pudding and I had no baked beans. Everything was beautifully presented and as I say the place is immaculately clean, you can see right through to the kitchen which actually gleams it's that clean ! Possibly the smartest cleanest cafe I have ever been in, it is beautiful! Nothing at all to give this plac...
