"We had a lovely Coronation day Saturady lunch at Browns in Victoria. There was a small mix up at first as I had booked for a party of 6 people, the 3 Course set menu for £19.50ish, through The Fork. However when we arrived, although the restaurant was expecting us, we were informed that the set menu was only available Monday to Fridays. We spoke to the manager and he was very helpful and gave us the set menu. He dealt with the situation very nicely and we had a really nice experience. The food especially the chicken and leek pie, was great and the staff were all very friendly . I would highly recommend this place. Thank you"

Brown's restaurant is located in a great spot. The service was top-notch and they were able to accommodate individual requests. The non-alcoholic drink options were a nice bonus!

We had eaten in Browns a number of times before and had already found it good. However today having chosen the Sunday roast, we thought the meal poor. The main problem was it was not hot and the quality of veg not great.

The service was slow. The food was over cooked. The egg was fully burnt underneath, the chips were overcooked, the chicken schnitzel was nearly overcooked. The toilets were not kept well, locks broken and not the best looking toilets. The ambience I found was different to all the other Browns I have been too not as good as the other ones.
