Amazing home cooked, fresh food, exceptional value for money in a family run, local business with a lush courtyard area where dogs are allowed.

We sat outside with our dogs and the staff brought them water and took our photo. We enjoyed delicious fresh bread, salad, crisps, and, of course, crab!

We always come here when we visit Cromer the food is first class and the staff are lovely, I noticed they have locals and they treat everyone with respect Voir le carte

The food was very well prepared using quality ingredients. The portion sizes were generous and good value. The staff were friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome.

Popped in mid morning for a quick coffee, order taken quickly, coffees arrived, teacakes took a while longer and arrived toasted. Not special but OK, £11.80 2 coffee, 2 teacakes.....but it is Bond Street (without the view!

We stumbled upon this charming café near the Cromer post office with a diverse menu. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and offered great value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future. Voir le carte

Another delightful trip to Brownes, the bacon baguette was huge and thick cut rashers. Extremely fresh bread, dabbed with brown sauce. Poached eggs cooked by James were excellent. James and the waiting staff were kind and friendly. Looking forward to our next trip, when we will be visiting Brownes again to sample their culinary delights.

Whatever your requirements Brownes will meet it. Great for a snack, full meal, cakes etc. We had soup, homemade of course with chunky bread and the nice touch was salt and pepper sachets in a separate dish. Also tried their omelettes and they came with 8 different vegetables together with a huge omelette. Served on a table with linen tablecloths. Friendly staff and generous portions.

My family consists of mostly vegetarians, so we were pleased to find that this restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian breakfast options, in addition to traditional meat and fish options. We all chose cooked breakfasts around £10, which included the choice of white or granary toast. The food was cooked to order and fresh, with high-quality ingredients. When we requested softly scrambled eggs, they were prepared exactly as we asked. We also enjoyed large pots of tea with extra water. Overall, it was a great experience for both carnivores and vegetarians. The service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cromer center.
