"I would give it a 3,5* if I could. The reason why I give it a 3* and not a 4* is because the owner (I assume he was the owner) needs to change his attitude and make the customer more welcome. The younger staff was professional, friendly and attentive but he needs to learn simple rules of politeness, like saying “please” and “thank you”. When you pay at the end, you don’t only say “62 euros” but “62 euros please!”. He is one of those typical business owner who just expects people to come, eat and go. Unless he treated us like “one time tourists”! The pizze are good but I wasn’t wowed. The dough could be better, they could add a bit more on the pizza because I was still hungry after eating the pizza, and I am not obese...by far. The pizza is flat with no relief from the ingredients. The pizza also lacked flavor and seasoning and adding salt and pepper later doesn’t give the same taste as when it bakes in the oven. Talking about oven, I would have expected them to have a wood fired pizza oven and NOT an electric oven. Big disappointment when you are selling yourself as a pizzeria! The dessert menu is the same boring dessert menu like any place here in Liguria: tiramisu, panna cotta, apple cake, crème caramel, pineapple slices. It feels like they have no imagination!!! On a positive note, we finally found a restaurant where the light is dimmed and not super bright like in most places around Albenga. It feels more intimate. And the prices are good. I will go again because my partner liked the ambiance combined with the food but I much prefer the pizza at 10 Torri, around the corner."

"This wasn’t an “out of this world” experience but, food was good and, the place was packed...on a Monday evening. Which is always a good sign : I recommend you don’t take both antipasto main dish because it’s a lot of food... Burger is good (huge , amazing potatoes, amazing focaccia, great pizza fabulous pasta. And the dessert list is really interesting so...make sure you have space for it! Make a reservation, they are always packed. Service takes time so don’t go if in a rush! Nice last minute decision!!"

"very recommended, there were pens with cream sauce and zucchini as the second dish I took a veal scaloppine with potatoes and grilled vegetables. it was so abundant that I could no longer enjoy the dessert. at lunchtime, bar 500 is mainly attended by locals."

"Finalmente una cena come si deve , materie prime freschissime , lavorate con maestria e passione , pochi piatti e menomale) uno più buono dell’altro .la palamitta che non utilizza quasi nessuno era davvero un capolavoro , per non parlare dei ravioli fatti a mano . Personale preparato e gentile , passione per il loro lavoro , locale curato e pulito Torneremo sicuramente"
