Had dinner on the lovely and very large terrace overlooking the Neckar river. Service was great and so was the food. Would very much recommend if you are in the vicinity.

Ich war bereits mehrfach im Bootshaus und fand es jedes Mal gleich: Das Ambiente ist sehr schön (gerade auch auf der Terrasse), das Essen ist sehr gut und das Personal stets höflich. Ich kann es guten Gewissens empfehlen.

We've visited this place multiple times, and here why: nice food, especially stakes, good selection of wine, nice personnel and lovely location. General advice would be to call the place in advance and reserve the table, Friday or Saturday evening - you might simply be not seated as all is occupied. The place is very lovely from the atmosphere prospective, you might even find it very romantic.Be ready for a bit higher prices in the comparison to some other places in Mannheim - compensation for all mentioned above.

Visited with a group on a lovely evening. The terrace is a great place to eat in summer. The service itself is very friendly. However, they seem to struggle when it is very busy and it can take along time for food to come out.The food itself is a little hit and miss. We had the starter sampler and that was good. In our group, many were very happy with their food. However, two of our group had ordered steaks and neither of them came out cooked as requested. Worst was the steak that should have been medium rare and came out closer to well done. Not what you expect when paying good money for steak.I would go back again as it is a good place but would encourage people to avoid the steak.

Lange hatten die Jugendlichen nach einer geeigneten Location gesucht. Es war ein wunderschönes Fest. Der Festsaal schön gedeckt, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Warum nur zwei Sterne? Das Menü kostete 30 Euro. Dafür kann man sehr viel mehr veelangen als Putengeschnetzeltes mit Reis und di ersen Salaten. Es gab noch Nudel in Tomatensuce und Gemüse drin. Fertig. Kartoffelsalat ? Nachtisch...günstige Melonen und irgendwas Weisses. Bei den Getränkepreisen ein armseliges Essen. Unpassend. We picked bootshaus to celebrate my wife and myself 50th birthday party. In summary, the event was a full success and very well received by our guests. Food and overall service was great and certainly above of what we expected from an event with >60 people.The bootshaus team is very professional in hosting larger events.
