"I've used Bob's before for fish and chips as it's the closest for collection and it's always been ok but not great. This time we wanted something different so I ordered 1 X large doner kebab, 1 X small doner kebab, 1 X small cod and chips and 6 pieces of peri-peri chicken £27). I was asked if I wanted salt and vinegar for the fish and chips but nothing else. Once I got the meals home there was nothing but utter disappointment. The fish and chips were ok but the peri-peri was just mildly spicy chicken strips £6) but the kebabs were just plain meat on a pitta see photo). No sauce, no salad, no peppers, nothing. Really Bob's? Do you think this is ok for £6.50/£8? Not for me that's the last time I use Bob's for anything and recommend everyone does the same. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE."

The food was terrible. The fish had no flavor and the chips were mushy. The chicken shish was insanely spicy. We ended up throwing away all of our food. Such a waste of money. Voir le carte

Big order placed with them as feeding 10. Collected order only to get home and find items missing and wrong portions. Drove back to resolve it and was challenged by staff saying it was our error, not theirs….

I finally discovered a fish and chip shop that knows how to cook their fish, chips, and battered sausage just right! The fish had crispy batter on the outside and tender, flavorful cod on the inside. The chips were plentiful and cooked perfectly, then drained before being served. I really enjoyed my meal and I will be returning tonight for more.

Always pop down to Bob's for our weekly Takeaway. They always have something for everyone's taste. Fish, chips, pizza chicken (southern fried or grilled) as well as Indian! Staff are always super friendly... special shout out to Peter, you make the trip down a laugh! I am always waiting to hear what you are going to say! Thanks guys... I will be back next week! We used to rarely eat fish and chips because the quality at our local spot was terrible. However, we have been a few times in the last few months and the food has been amazing. The chips are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with plenty of salt and vinegar. The fish is cooked perfectly. Overall, it's a delicious treat that we are now enjoying more often.

Placed an order online, over £80 worth. Went to collect it and got home to find some items were missing and one order was incorrect (which isn’t the end of the world! I returned to bobs with the incorrect item and explained that there were some items missing the staff were extremely rude to which the boy working said all the items he packed were correct and made out as if I was lying. Basically shrugging his shoulders. After finally getting the items, returned home and one of them was still wrong and the food was not great at all. We are very local but sadly will not use them again due to our experience.
