Today I went to the Boathouse, service was great (Danny was very helpful and polite and gave good recommendations off the menu)!!

Awful service and food ! Sunday roast belonged in prison .. microwaved slop!! Looked like it was plated up with a catapult from 50 meters

Our dining experience at this restaurant was delightful. The staff, particularly John and Sarah, were all very friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

Absolutely delicious! Crispy chicken burger with chips and onion rings hit the spot, along with the Yardbird Pale Ale to wash it down. Jess was incredibly lovely too! Beautiful restaurant with tasty food and a relaxing view; what more could you want. Highly recommend The Boathouse and I can't wait to come back

Honestly, the roast dinner at this restaurant was terrible. My pork was cold, the potatoes were very hard and cold, and the stuffing was also cold. For £16, I expect a warm and fresh meal. I would recommend saving your money and going to Toby Carvery instead. The waitress brought me more pork, but it was also not fresh, and I was tired of complaining.

Busy pub with a lovely, cost feel. What let's it down seems to always be the food. A high ratio of the times I have been here they have been either understaffed, overbooked or service is just plain slow. The food quality does not justify any sort of wait either. However, treat it like a place for just drinks and it is wonderful. Plenty of outdoor seating (barely indoors though) and a beautiful atmosphere.

The location and renovation of this pub are fantastic, but unfortunately, the lack of staff, management oversight, and poor quality of food were major disappointments. During our visit three to four weeks ago, there were 12 of us who ordered drinks and platters. The platters seemed to be made of frozen processed food, and half of our order was missing. With the right management and improved food quality, this pub could be a lively and successful establishment.

I visited here with my family for a solemn occasion on a Friday. The restaurant is in a lovely location surrounded by flowers and greenery. The staff took our order at the table efficiently and asked about allergies, preferences. Drinks and food arrived in good time and were presented. The different vegan options were clearly labelled on the menu. I had food envy of my aunt as her vegan meal was far more enticing. I ate a medly of veg with Gravy whilst she ate a vegan pie with veg and mash. 5 people in our party also opted to order dessert which ranges from tarts to ice cream. They were just the right size. The staff were friendly and listened appropriately to our preferences.
