"After we made four unsuccessful calls to reserve a table this afternoon, we drove up without a reservation. At 5:15 p.m. we were blocked at the door by the waitress like two school children. Everything is documented. no greetings, no, immediately asked about the reservation. The restaurant was empty, a car in the yard, an older couple eating. With so much “warmth” we thankfully decided not to have a drink in the self-service area and went straight to the Restaurant Kreuz in Egerkingen. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. Conclusion: There are catering establishments that make an effort to cater to their guests and there are establishments that no longer seem to need it. Two stars are too many for this unfriendly reception alone."

Way up on the alm .. after a 5k drive on a private mountain road .. a fairytale type chalet ..with a great variety of dishes and personal and kind service...

Best outdoor dining of all my visits to Switzerland! Food and wine pairings were wonderful. Service was perfect! OssoBuco and Chocolate Lava Cake was top notch.

amazing eating (big portions also,) friendly service, incredible landscape. the owner has esel for pets, there are walking around, there are possibilities for children to play, a take-away area separated from the restaurant, fondue huts and more. after a few kilometers on a Scottish road you reach the restaurant that is more of a day trip. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful mountain restaurant with a very idyllic, beautifully landscaped garden, large garden terrace, great view of the whole Gäu, “chalet-like” interior with lots of wood and cozy tables. Very harmonious. Tasteful interior decoration, some of which is also for sale (barn for Gänggele and: excellent food!! great, seasonal game menu and large selection of hearty menus....very nicely prepared and very attentive, friendly service!!
