Blue Lake - Carte

I have ordered takeout from Blue Lake twice within the past 3 months, and both times the food was excellent. They offer a diverse menu with great quality dishes. What's not to love?

Stayed over in Horley during a business trip fancied a Chinese meal, having searched on TA I went to the Blue Lake was not disappointed. Polite staff good food at a reasonable price

I ordered the vegetable chow mein, egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, king prawn curry, and sesame toast. Unfortunately, the food was terrible - tasteless and bland. I ended up throwing it all in the bin.

At the moment, this restaurant is only offering takeout service, but we had a great experience a few weeks ago. The sweet and sour dish was delicious and the Singapore fried rice was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first visit and we will definitely come back. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked beautifully and eating was a real pleasure. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. Voir le carte

Had the misfortune of walking into this vile establishment. We walked in with our 19 month old, no smile or hello, just we don 't have a high chair , rude vile staff. Would recommend people give this place a wide berth there are plenty of other better Chinese restaurants in Horley

A welcome return to the Blue Lake where we found we were the only customers as it was a lunchtime. The menu has been updated, as has the all included buffet, but that has sadly also brought an increase in price. However, the service remains as excellent as ever with the 2 delightful girls ensuring that all is in order. Strongly our favourite Chinese restaurant.

My husband and I have been traveling in England for the last few weeks and we have had some outstanding meals in York, Oxford and Cheltenham. It is our last night here before we leave tomorrow and we had the misfortune to try this restaurant. We were willing to try the set menu for £22 each. We ordered a Tsintao each and a few appetizers and we were surprised when they arrived. Our hot and sour soup was overly thickened with cornstarch and all other offerings were deep-fried. After this course we were unable to eat anymore since what was to come would have been the same quality. We asked to pay for what we had and we were still charged £36 for this “meal”.
