"The welcome from waiting staff was great. Very attentive team of people who ensured we were all comfortable with a drink before we ordered food. Our food choices were all well recieved...the chicken ceasar salad was delicious. A little pot of extra ceasar sauce was given when requested. Tasty puds...loved the treacle sponge! We will be visiting again soon."

Great pub restaurant for a Sunday roast. Well presented, at least 6 different vegetables were served on my plate. Good value as you get what you pay for here .

Last dinner with friend and while outside was bitter cold outside the fire was not lit inside. Our order came completely wrong and average. But the staff was excellent, gave us free deserts and service was very good, so I would go back, but maybe not for a while.

Very poor service as drinks were ordered on arrival but didn’t arrive. No/one came to take order. We ended up going up to bar even though restaurant was quiet. We witnessed unprofessional behaviour from kitchen where we were sitting near. Manageress did try to redress situation but staff let her down.
