nice eating and great service, the staff worked really hard, but where very friendly, was very busy with him vater day.

This has to be the best overnight stay I've had. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff are friendly and professional. The food is simply delicious and fresh. To top it all off, the room we stayed in was glorious. Set in beautiful countryside the views are amazing. Top marks all round!

The black horse hosted my sons wedding and I would like to thank everyone involved for making the event so special.. Anne, Sharon and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. A beautiful venue, the marquee was just perfect and the rooms are stunning. The food was superb . Thanks again we will certainly return

This is a fairly extensive pub restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating and a play area, suitable only for older kids. Can't comment on midweek menu which looks interesting. Sunday lunch is fairly standard roasts with a cheaper small portion available. 3 or 4 other options available. I wouldn't mind trying an interesting looking midweek menu.

Absolutely shocking service. Took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and only did as we chased. We had to ask to order food, weren’t offered a dessert menu and our chairs were removed from the table before we were finished. Also our 3 year old sons meal was undercooked. Sausages were raw in the middle and no alternative provided. Absolutely ruined our family anniversary meal

we booked a stand, but none. service was really very poor, not even someone came to our table without having to scream or run after them to get their attention in the rule after waiting old! we ordered about 3 times that they finally gave us free, because for some reason the order did not go in! the environment was nice and the food was nice. I hope the experience was one. I was a few times before and the service was in order.

we were here on a Monday night and it was absolutely fantastic. first, the landscape around the hotel is simply amazing. very picturesque with a beautiful wedding marathon, some vintage tractories and simply in the really beautiful environment. the room itself was from this world for the price. so much bigger than expected with huge solid handmade and obviously custom furniture. the best part was the huge copper tub in the center of the bathroom, which was great. the breakfast was phenomenal. absolute monster shares of good quality ingredients served in a beautiful winter garden. to distribute it from customer service, the staff was very friendly and friendly. would come back 100%.
