Visited with friends, the amount of food you get will fill the most insatiable appetite!! Lovely quality, great staff! Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Would give more stars if I could!!

I visited the Black Horse for my first anniversary dinner. We had a fantastic meal and enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards, we stayed for a drink and had a great conversation with the friendly staff. We had a wonderful time overall.

Excellent bar and restaurant service, the food was amazing! The hanging kebabs are second to none! Welcoming and friendly atmosphere and the weekend entertainment is absolutely fantastic. Would recommend everyone one to visit. Voir le carte

After being shut for 2 months for refurb. The Black has reopened with a new landlady. The staff were excellent and the food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. Will definitely be back to sample the rest of the Menu.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here with the most wonderful, delicious food. Highly recommend the kebabs which were gorgeous. Service was amazing and competitively priced too. We will be visiting again for sure!! Thank you Black Horse.

I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant, it was one of the best I've had. I highly recommend giving it a try! I was surprised it wasn't more crowded considering how good the food was. Hopefully more people will discover this gem! Voir le carte

We wanted to try the Black since the new menu was launched. There were 5 in our party and we all went for the beef dinner. The beef was cooked to perfection and we had very friendly and attentive waiting staff. We will definitely be back.

Had a Christmas dinner in the Black Horse Pontarddulais today and it was dismal. Black roast potatoes, black Yorkshire Pudding, insipid gravy, salty mash potatoes, and only served with carrots, sprouts and red cabbage. Sent my meal back, no apology, and no discount for a very poor meal. It's very disappointing that we were only 11 for Christmas dinner, nobody else in the pub and they couldn't serve a decent Christmas meal. Poor poor poor . Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

On Friday 10th November, my wife and I made a reservation for a table for two at this restaurant. Upon arrival, my wife informed the staff of her severe wheat gluten allergy. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not have a gluten free menu available. When inquiring about gluten free options, she was only given limited suggestions such as pie, salad, or curry, none of which were guaranteed to be gluten free. This lack of knowledge and awareness regarding allergies among the staff is concerning and potentially dangerous for allergy sufferers. It also goes against the regulations set by the FSA.
