"Me and my husband dined here twice. First time was superb. Food was excellent and service was even better, lovely gentlemen attended us and our daughter and was soo considerate and meticulous. Very appealing place with beautiful setting. We had such a good experience we decided to go back, However, we were made to feel very unwelcome, and while everyone’s order was taken at their table we were particularly told to order at the bar. Even waited fairly long to pay for our bill and again had to go to the bar to do so while folks that arrived after us were attended to. We didn’t understand why but we definitely noticed how differently we were being treated and will not be back unfortunately."

Wow! What a welcome! Popped in with my Dad for a cuppa this morning. Really charming staff. Enjoyed the Autumn sunshine in the garden while we were waiting for our car to be MOT'd nearby. Couldn't fault anything about the visit. Now planning to go back for lunch when we have a bit more time. Our interaction with the staff was absolutely everything it should have been and more. Two VERY happy customers! Parking: Loads of parking space.
