My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Bidean while walking the Camino. We’d read the reviews, which were mixed, but we had a great stay and a memorable dinner. We were ushered into a downstairs dining room. We were the first there, as we were getting up early to walk. The service at the hotel and restaurant was excellent. We had none of the negative experiences mentioned in other reviews. The highlight of the dinner was the musical duo, a singer and keyboard player who provided the background music. When they learned we were from New York, they pulled out a new songbook and broke into Frank Sinatra’s New York New York. We laughed and danced and had a great time. It was our Spanish supper club.
