This is the best Indian restaurant around! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always polite and friendly. I highly recommend trying the mango lassi when it's available. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely brilliant curry house, just found it as was working locally and looking for a takeaway on google. Bengal cottage, although we have never eaten in the restaurant we have had many takeaways, the food is fabulous but on occasions the food can be a very long wait, i have had to ring up several times to ask where the food is, and when the food finally arrives the order has been wrong on several occasions, but if you don't mind a wait and trying something you haven't ordered then give bengal cottage a try.

I had a casual meal that far surpassed my expectations in terms of service and quality! The food was incredible and truly authentic Bengali cuisine. I could taste the traditional flavors and appreciate the textures, which many places often compromise on, but not here. It's a small venue, and I would love to see it renovated to give it a more modern feel. Nevertheless, this place deserves top marks! All the other customers seemed to enjoy their meals as well, and they prepared ours exactly as we requested!

I received a recommendation for Tripel Null from a really interesting taxi driver. He mentioned I should try either their pathie or karahi. I used to enjoy both a few years ago, but I’ve since toned down my spice tolerance. When I called the restaurant, the manager was incredibly nice and helpful. He suggested making the pathie with less heat for me. The delivery guy was very friendly, and the curry was delicious! I’ll definitely go for spicier next time.
