"I was staying at the Lochside guest house and thought I would have a meal here. Although they were fully booked for Halloween on Saturday, they were still able to accommodate me. I tried their salt and chili fried dishes (I wanted to order garnishes, but they weren't available), as well as a cream soup, and a Chinese-style curry with rice and naan bread. The presentation, quality, and quantity of the food were excellent for the price. The hospitality was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area."

They always enjoy stopping by for drinks or a meal. The view on a nice day is wonderful. The value is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be coming back!

It’s outrageous that 10% of your total bill is charged for renting your plate and cutlery. The restaurant was busy, and the staff seemed quite unfriendly. I would recommend skipping this place altogether, as the food was very disappointing. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.

Not a welcoming place for tourists. I wish I could give this pub zero stars. We were asked to leave after spending the whole evening there simply because my partner has dark skin. I can't believe this happened. A local man had an issue with my partner, and the bartenders made us leave because of it. It's 2023—how is this still happening? I've loved Scotland, but I will definitely be avoiding this pub! Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
